JVG is the one who experimented with Cato at the PF slot next to Yao, after Rudy would never even consider it? Garnett, Nowitzki, and Gasol all get nearly 10 rebounds a game if not more. Garnett and Gasol are outstanding shot blockers, and Nowitzki is bigger. Nachbar doesn't have this kind of capability. As for VladRad- He plays the 4 while next to another big 3 (Rashard Lewis, 6-10). Seattle does that because they lack talent up front, and have always had a load of talent at the swing positions. Seattle sure wasn't winning much when VladRad was starting.
NikeStrad, JVG only is creative on the DEFENSIVE side of the ball. He would totally ruin Nowitzki. DD
I actually thought about that. What is there to lose? it's not like Howard or Mo are doing that good anyways. Padgett gets to play the 4 and he is just as skinny as Boki.
Boki did guard Dirk last year. He was destoyed if I remember correctly. I also would like to see more minutes from Boki, especially after we trade one of our power forwards. I don't know how he'll do at the pf spot though. but hey, you'll never find out if you don't try it.
