Tskitishvili didnt even make the playoff roster. We thought Darko had it bad haha. Vanderweghe said that he had in mind that it was going to take two years to develop him before he saw significant minutes. He looks like he could be good, but it sucks their SF is Melo and their PF is Nene. I dont see him having a bright career in Denver. He seems like he wants to be good. gained 30 lbs of muscle last offseason. Thats dedication. He might be a good fit in somewhere like Cleveland.

I'm not trying to compare Padgett to Boki. I just wonder why Boki, who has not really shown anything (perhaps because he has noit been given a chance) has a fan club, while others do not.

Kind of a side note - but about Pike's injury. Apparently it takes a lot longer to get over than I realized. Look at Cato and Mo T. Both took a full year to get over their problems. I say Griffin and Pike a year later could be productive players. Our bench could be a lot stronger next year, with the same people.

Boki has fan club because he is young and shows some potential. Many fans want to take a few years to build a champion competitive team instead of a so so team with a bunch of veterans with low up space. JJ is good, I voted him as the best Rox last season. But can you bet on him winning a title? Last season is his best and he is too old to improve anymore.

Compared with many established players, Boki is nobody. But he would be a cheap but valuable contributor if we can develop him along with Yao and Steve. Think about that, we don't have much salary space and we need a good PF, so we can not afford to buy an established SF. Boki is there, you get to use him for the best.

Actually, I've seen Boki and Padgett doing some pretty different things. Padgett usually sets up on the perimeter, and shoots open shots off of double teams. Boki has the slasher dimension to his game, but worse at the set shot. And as the above poster has mentioned, Boki is younger and has potential to be more. While everyone already knows what Padgett can bring.

I got a picture with Boki at the Astros Game Saturday night! Man he's a legit 6,9. I was like "man karl malone is an a$$hole." He was like "yeah I know." That made my day. It was also cool that the Astros put it on the Reds.

You know, when the guy plays like every 20th game, it's kinda hard to tell.

Boki has convinced me!He's a winner, and a future all-star caliber player. Perhaps a Nick Van-Horn type player

I'm gonna get slaughtered for this but I think he could be closer to Kirlenko. He's not a stiff like Keith Van Horn.

He hasn't been a dead eye shooter, but as someone already pointed out, 36% is certainly not too bad, particularly as he has had no chance to get into rhythm during the season.

Padgett is a different case. I just don't think he has the physical tools to guard NBA players. He is overpowered by 4s, and not quick enough to guard 3s. Even JVG has said that Boki has the potential to be a good defender. And to play for this coach, you're going to have to defend.

That's one difference right there. Don't underestimate his ability on the break either, and he's actually looked relatively comfortable handling the ball. I'm not suggesting moving him to the point, but it's helpful to have a larger 3 (6' 9") who isn't a complete stiff with the ball. And he can make the entry pass fairly well too.

It has to be make or break this year though. I feel that JVG will use him and Mo T as first options off the bench to start the season, and it'll be up to him to prove his worth.

In summary, I think that people are high(ish) on Nachbar because he undoubtedly has some physical ability (and therefore some upside), and he showed poise and looked unflustered in a playoff situation.
