I have a bad feeling Boki would be a Horry or Ginoubli calibre player on other teams.

JVG is the least friendly coach for young players. See how he
turned our roster from the youngest to the oldest.

Joe Johnson will not be resigned due to the contract demands. I would not be surprised if Boki signs with his old coach for minimal compensation.

Boki hasn't shown us jack. He doesn't play defense worth a flip which is the primary reason he doesn't see much playing time. You cannot have a guy on the floor who is a defensive liability and not even contribute on the offensive end. Lets not be to hasty to judge these moves....JVG is a pretty schrewd guy and unless you have the inside track and are in the know then it is pretty foolish to ASSume anyting.

Glad to see Boki back in the mix. We are missing the three pt threat that we had with him on the floor. Funny how he has been the most consistant shooter from outside this season.

As for AB, I am really not happy with this decision. From what I have seen AB pushed the ball up the court a lot to get the Rox some easy points, just like Sura does pretty often. Ward on the other hand....blah.

My love for this team is shrinking. I don't see this team (with these players in particular) climbing out of this hole. I have never felt this way as a Rocket fan before. If we lost, I was usually still entertained in one way or another. :(

Boki off the IR, now with an expiring contract.

Good-bye, Boki. We hardly knew ye.

The last point guard to make an assist passing to Yao was Barrett. That right there should be good enough to get Barrett off the injury list.

barrett got found out badly by bobby jackson then followed that game up with a so-so performance against the jazz. people complain about the lack of offense but i reckon it's they have to tighten up their d more.

ab is not the answer, he won't ever be a starter on this team, so there is no point in giving him minutes when the sura, ward, and lue need (or needed in lue's case) more game time to over come recent injuries and build chemistry.

AB is better than Wart now and will only be better as time goes by.

Todays Chron reporting following Van Dummy quote:

"Right now, Andre Barrett's our only healthy (point guard) and he's on the injured list," Van Gundy said after the Rockets dealt Tyronn Lue to Atlanta for Jon Barry. "That's an oxymoron right there: Our only healthy guy is on the injured list."

Goes on to talk about how Ward's knee is still sore and implies that someone messed up and didn't tell the truth about Ward's knee (Ward? the trainer?).

So AB has how many more games on the IL?

What is that disease where people just blurt out inappropriate words, with absolutely no intellectual control? Tourette's syndrome? Like the Anne Heche character on Alley McBeal....

Seems like Van Dummy has a bad case.

He (and CD) also seems to have a bad case of bad decisionmaking. Is there a name for that syndrome? Besides stupid?

Another oxymoron (a combination of contradictory or incongruous words that do not belong together) : Jeff Van Gundy, Coach.

    frustrated, frustrated, frustrated, frustrated....

Van Gundy couldn't have been clearer in stating that it was Ward who was telling porky pies?
"I think what's more of a concern right now is we were sort of misled about Charlie in that he's obviously not where he said he was and that's put us in a little bit of a hole right now"

if d'antoni wants him maybe we can pry away barbosa...they don't really need him considering JJ can play point, and then qrich can move over to sg.

ya'll think barbosa would fit us well?

You know Van Gundy is stupider than I thought. Before you sign a player, you still need to give a proper physical and work out. I dont care how many years Ward played for JVG, he still should have had an extensive check up so that this problem would never have been raised. Im so frusterated. JVG is f_cking up over and over. He really needs to be fired!! Bring in Phil Jackson![I never thought I would be saying this:( ]

This makes no sense. Maybe you are new to sports. It happens all the time - players pass physical and then get hurt soon after. There are many reasons for the "phonemenon". It appears that you are way over you head on this one.

Please lets make our gripes "legitimate" instead of regurgitating trashy sentiments we pick[ed] randomly so that we do not come accross as people out of our depths. This silly piling on is getting more ridiculous and childish by second. I do not process to a savant of issues like these but common we can do better than this.

    Jeeez!

This is huge and I am sooooo excited.

It is worth digging up this thread to announce that IL 5-game mandatory minimum stinct for Barret will end on Friday after our game agaist the hot-Bucks. So he Should be back for Sunday's game at home against Utah. I expect Gaines to return to the IL and make way for the_Barret.

Please raise your glasses and lets toast to this.

    Hip hip hip.....Hooorah!!!
