Not from the (way too many) Bucks games I've seen. He's their best defender.

Yeah, I'm joking. I find it funny that people here bash him and then complain when people bash Yao.

    Aww, Yao's a pansy.

And I, apparently, have the world's worst sense of humor. ;)

Wait.. are those numbers truely telling of his play?

I haven't seen Bogut play at the NBA level..

but, if those numbers tell the real full tale..

i don't see what's there to scoff at..

7.2 rpg, and 2.3 apg at the center spot? in 28.6 a game?

if you extrapolate those numbers to 38mpg.. you're
looking at pretty damn good starting numbers at the 5..

unless, he's getting those numbers at garbage time?

otherwise, you're looking at a possibly solid, well rounded, 15-16ppg 10-12rpg 3.5apg starting 5 for your team.. and he plays defense?

    completely agree Kelly

watched a pile of games and even one live when i was in the US in Feb

Magloire playing the C helps him not have to guard centres and keeps him out of the foul trouble Yao had for his first few years, however Magloire's presence on offense is really hurting the Bucks and also Boguts development, when he touches the ball good things happen for the them, he makes great reads, passes and when Redd and Simmons defenders stay on them he plays one on one and finishes well, but he should be getting the ball more, not sure why they don't play Bogut and Smith more together.....

right now he acts as a passer on the perimeter while the ball goes to possibly the slowest offensive player in the game (Magloire) and he makes his same one post move everytime....

and yeah he does play with good intensity and is into in on D

he will only get better and certainly certainly see 15 and 11 in the future plus a few dimes or more and a couple of blocks a game

I've seen about 30 Bucks games this year & can concur he is the only one that plays any defense on that team. He goes long stretches where he isn't given any touches & never has a play called for him. Most nights he finds a way to make positive things happen while he's on the floor. Surprisingly his foot speed is better than people are giving him credit.

At best, he will be a Rony Seikily without the crazy hot wife.

what the frick is Stotts doing.... tonight 10 pts and 5 rebs in 10 minutes and that is frickin it.....

the boy plays the best D out there and get the offense going and he seems to be stuck in the mind set that Bogut plays with Magloire together and that is it......

he would work so much better when on the floor with Smith or Kukoc or even DGaz...

If anything, some of those guys are 5's disguised as 4's. That's why there aren't alot of talented centers in the league anymore. All the big men are playing power forward. However, Bynum and Oden are undoubtedly centers. I don't know how they could be considered anything else.
