http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Bogdan-Bogdanovic-6145/ Currently at #28 in first round of draftexpress mock, right around where we are going to pick. Rapidly improving SG playing decent in Euroleague, I'm surprised to see a European player with excellant phisical/athletic measurements as top US prospects(He measures almost identical to our very own Harden!). He also shoots 38% from deep along with decent steal rates. Looks like the contract situation is not complicated if we want to sign him next season, but it could be an oversea stash as well.
Seems high high TO's, and his shooting over the year is more around league avg for 3's. However, I think draft and stash is best for the next two years.

Comparing his euroleague stats with Harden's last year at Arizona, looks like they have similar shooting, passing, rebound, steal, block rate(Harden has slightly worse outside shooting but turnover the ball a little less). But Harden's finishing ability is better and goes to the line more. Plus Harden was 2 years younger before the draft. Still looks pretty good for a late first round pick. 2014 draft pool looks very deep and nice.
According to Holliger/Pelton, euroleague stats is underrated since it's better competition than NCAA, so he looks even better albeit on small sample size(last year not so good, but you can also say he improved a lot).
I definitely agree on the first statement, but Bogdan is only 21 and this is his first season as a starter. He's playing for Partizan and the Serbian national team, two teams with fantastic head coaches that are known for developing young talents. Give him a year or two before labeling him a bust. Bogdan has an absolutely beautiful shooting form and the guy can stroke it from anywhere on the floor. His main problems are lackadaisical effort on defense and poor decision making when trying to create on offense. Both of those can be fixed as he matures and gets comfortable with his role. I like him, he has that arrogancy and cockiness on the court, he likes to compete.
Maybe the rockets will draft an euro prospect in the 2014 and 2015, (if they keep the 1st round). so it doesnt count agains the cap.
Bogdan Bogdanović made the game-winning three for Partizan against Maccabi in a Euroleague match this Thursday (stats). Highlights: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/8VGZgrs4lQ4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Daryl Morey was in attendance. Btw, DraftExpress currently has Bogdanović going to the Rockets with the 26th pick.
Had 34-5-5 (11/19 fg, 6/10 3pt, 6/8 ft) in the first game of Serbian playoff finals, then followed it up with a 33-4-5 (10/21 fg, 3/9 3pt, 10/10 ft) statline. I've already said that this guy's a baller, but his draft stock has been falling recently and DraftExpress has him listed as the 35th pick. Bogdanović would be a huge steal that late in the draft.
