Generally speaking, once it's known in the general prisoner population that someone is a child molester, or raped-murdered a child, then he is in fora butt-party that's going to last his entire sentence. He will be repeatedly raped and beaten. The guards often look the other way in those cases, too. I'd just as soon put them all to death, though. That is the only way to be 100% sure that they will never be released or escape and do it again.
I can't really understand the feelings of parents on this board, but I did help raise my little brother a lot. I think I turned 30 by the age of 8 in some aspects. And if anyone ever touched him, I would want the worst possible thing to happen to that person. It's like killing thos pervs isn't enough. You hear about some of them beating and torturing them or burning them and hanging the kids. That's what I wish would happen to them. Put them through enormous amounts of pain and suffering, but don't kill them right away. Let them suffer first. All of this "swift justice" stuff is crap. I want the guy to have to run and be afraid of being caught, but I know that if not caught they can hurt others. Maybe I'm a mean person, but I have no sympathy for this kind of stuff. It's nice to see there are so many loving and caring parents. I really didn't have much of a dad, but my mom was truly the greatest in the world.
It makes me sad that the parents of this child chose to continue this lifestyle even after they had a child at home. Obviously the concentration of perverts in swingers' clubs, is higher than in the normal population. They brought these people into their house. From what I heard, they had a soundproof barrier between the party room and the kids' rooms to keep the kids from knowing what was going on. Of course, that means maybe no one heard her scream when she was taken. I hope some punishment is given to the parents if it can be proven that they've been letting questionable people into their house.
Before reading it here, I hadn't heard any of the swinger stuff. So I looked around. I saw an early article of Time that said there were rumors of it floating about (in internet chat rooms and the like). But, recent articles in the San Diego paper pointedly report that there was no relationship between the parents and the alleged perpetrator -- they don't mention allegations of any sexual relationship, just that there wasn't a relationship of any sort. That doesn't say anything either way as to whether they were swingers, but does suggest they were swinging with this 50 year old neighbor of theirs. I just have to wonder how reliable the information is. I don't usually worry much about misinformation spread on the internet, but this particular piece of gossip is, I think, especially dangerous. Can anyone offer some concrete documentation on this? And why are the police denying it?
JV: I saw that report a week or so ago on MSNBC (TV); like I said, don't know if it's true. They are certain, though, that the neighbor and the mom were drinking together at the same bar that night, and apparently they may have left together, along with some of the mom's other friends. They apparently actually did move the party back to the family's house... Who knows what actually happened beyond that. If it is true, though, it's pretty f*ed up...
