At the start of baseball season I will be setting up my own league with software I downloaded. I haven't fully explored the inner workings of it yet, but it seems to be a great way to get away from the Yahoos and Sandboxes of the net. However...it will be a pay to play league. I'm thinking something small...$20-30 per owner... complete with prizes for the top finishers. If anyone is interested, I'll let y'all know as we get closer to baseball time. If I can pull it off with not too many hitches, I'm hoping to expand. The software can handle 100 leagues at one time.
About editing lineups. I dont know when the deadline is, but it is not midnight BBS time sunday as I did my last adjustments just after 1 BBS time yesterday - maybe it is early monday, or maybe I just go lucky and they are supposed to close at midnight? Anyway I'm thankful that I did get mine in.
I know it's not midnight, because I've been at work all night and checked as late as 1:30 and the page not be updated. I'll watch it tonight and see when it updates, but no promises...I usually "meditate" from 1 till 4 or so.
This year's Rookie of the Year played his first game this year. Expect big things this year form Wagner.
Looks like the SmegHead express is gonna be derailed again tonight. As of right now, you have about a 10 point lead, but you have Bobby Jackson left versus my Richard Jefferson, who's been coming on strong lately. Oh, and I got that S. O'Neal guy playing tonight too.
Behad, you get the win thanks to my Cleveland connection, Skeletor gets a DNP-CD and Ricky gets suspended for swearing at Skeletor.... thanks Arse Clown Cavs comeback soon Wally and Bibby, i need to get back on the tracks!!!
I almost blew it though. I had to pull Cato because of his disappearing act last week, only to have him have a career game. I replaced him with Maggette, who went on IR on Tuesday But Shaq is back, and everyone else has upped their scoring some. I'll be ok.
My team finally got a taste of winning, they are healthy and looking to keep me out of the minor's. BEWARE!
Woo hoo. I never like messing with Santa's reigndeer around Christmas time, but they've been knocked from the unbeaten list. Yabba Dabba Doo
My luck had to run out some time. I had hopes that they could pull it out again and when I saw Kandi out my optimism grew, but then I found out that Baron Davis missed out too and it was not to be. Congrats PSJ, all those bad performances were bound to hurt me sometime. Losing with only 9 fpts does hurt though.
