Gotta love it when players on your fantasy team get their minutes cut short because they're involved in blowouts...

In case anyone missed it, we had our first trade of the year.

    Cat trades:

    Michael Finley & Juwan Howard

    to Pimp for:

    Darius Miles & Jason Terry

    Ben Wallace - F/C - Detroit Pistons Nov 20

Ben Wallace registered a triple-double Wednesday the hard way.
That's an understatement. Wallace had 12 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks. This, my friends, is why Wallace is so valuable. Overlook his scoring deficiency.

Still regret drafting Ben Wallace in the first round Clutch?

And I'd like to point out that one day after this trade was accepted Darius went to the IL. :(

My team has fallen a lot back lately, almost trying to lose it seems, with injuries and worse, but once in a blue moon they put up a good game to even it up, and the luck of the schedule has squared me up with teams having a struggling week as they face me, with the same type of injuries and underachieving games.

It looks like I will take this weeks game from Smeggy as I'm only down 16 going into the final quarter, and The Heads has tired themself out and have only Tracy McGrady to go to. I can counter that with Kobe Bryant who is also getting help from the trio of Keith van Horn, Morris Peterson and Malik Rose. This hopefully should be enough to bring my record to 4-0 with another difficult task waiting next week in The Jams who is running on all cylinders at the moment spouting this weeks highest score. If my team does not get out of the 'how can we suck worse now' attitude my winning streak should be on its last breaths now.

Seeing as Mobley will miss that entire week of games it was the perfect opportunity to take a gamble that The Hawk plays out of his mind to replace The Cats fantasy production. There was not much more else to hope for looking at the waivers. I also took a hazardous gamble with Boozer who will probably go back to playing 5 mins a game pretty soon with Cavs getting back their starters anytime soon. Here is to hoping they will stay injured for atleast another week.

And that is pretty much the situation for The lost Reindeers

Ah, damn - only a flu for Hill and even supposed to be back yesterday. I guess Boozer will not play for me next week then, welcome back MoPete.

I wish Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady would take the rest of the season off.

    Mike Miller's line tonight:

    33 pts, 19 reb, 3 asst, 1 three pointer and 3 To's=75 fantasy points:eek:

I'm not sure what I want for Thanksgiving dinner, but I'm thinking Venison, a cup of milk, and some Heath bar crunch ice cream for dessert. Yummy.

I'll have a toast of Jammie Injuries, to keep the streak going. And I came to my senses (I hope) and removed The Hawk from my lineup after his brilliant fantasy display vs Clippers.

I put in an email early this morning but haven't heard back - can we update our lineups on Monday before games if needed (via commissioner) like last season or is it Sunday midnight firm? I forgot to edit my lineup last night and Radmanovic and Allen have got to come out.

Anyhow, been fun ... I haven't posted much but have watched it real close. I think my team so far has been the luckiest of them all ... it's not as good as the 4-0 record suggests. Arenas was playing out of his mind for a while and got a couple monster games from Wallace last week.

I have the same concern. I just found out that Hughes is on the injured list and would like to replace him if possible.

I'll let Bob answer, but I could've sworn he said somewhere that he couldn't make lineup changes after Sunday.

    Damn ... you're right -- <a href="http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&postid=609667#post609667">he did</a>.

Bummer. I know atleast in Fantasy Football by Yahoo! you can alter lineups if needs be. I think it's a team-by-team basis on whether or not they specified that the commissioner can make changes for them. But if that's the rule, that's cool.

I am unable to make any roster changes after Sunday. The league pretty much runs itself. I am powerless:(

Is everyone happy with Yahoo? Any complaints?

I really appreciate Behad's outstanding work with the schedules, standings and results. Thanks Behad, great job!!!

And I would like to thank D0D with his players stats. Great work Doc!!!

I have been searching for something better than Yahoo. And may have found it. Take a look around this site and let me know what you think: http://www.fanstar.com/

I may set up our league at fanstar so we can give it a test run to see how everything works, after Christmas. The official league will continue to run through Yahoo. Any comments would be appreciated.

Maybe we can set up a totally new league there, with another draft and everything. Of course, the Yahoo one would continue to run and would still be our "official" league for ranking purposes and such, but I know I wouldn't mind getting a fresh start in a new environment.
