Ok it's the midway point in the season. Time to hand out the midseason awards. Here are the awards I have made up for my team: MVP - Tim Duncan. This one isn't even close. Duncan has exceded my expectations and I took him with the first overall pick. Points, rebounds, blocks. The guy is amazing. favorite wire pickup - Carlos Boozer. I haven't really picked up anyone that great but Boozer has surprised me posting up a few double-doubles. most disappointing - Dajuan Wagner. Wags hasn't been terrible. But I would expect him to start over Milt Palacio and Smush Parker. But come to think of it my most regretful was McDyess but I have already blocked that from my memory. player you most regretted cutting - Howard Eisley. Eisley has played better than expected since I cut him but I don't miss him too much. Please share your own team awards and feel free to make up your own catagories.
McGrady is clearly my MVP Steal - Ricky Davis and Bibby and Bobby Jackson a close second Underperformed - Sheed and Twan, they are so inconsistent!!! Fav wire pick-up - Skeletor for a while and maybe again if he gets minutes somewhere. Although Dion Glover could be a great pick if he keeps up his form from last week has averaged over 35fantasy pts a game the last three games...sweet!!! Need Sheed, Wally and Twan to perform and i can give this title a serious shake
quick question: Does our league have a trading deadline like the real NBA? If so then we have until Thursday to make moves. I'm open for negotiation if anyone wants to deal.
I thought you had me Behad. You were up by about 130 going into Sunday. But that Shaq DNP hurts. DNP's suck!
Miracles over all miracles, a win - I had forgotten how those felt. But my team is not producing what it did earlier and if a trade can help my team get deeper/better I'm all for it. Anyone want to give a go at adding Kobe or any of the other before the deadline?
Garnett tried his best to keep me in it, but I still lost. Luckily, I have an easy game against Finn* this week.
Excellent, I'm liking this trade. Hopefully Orlando will mean a more consistent and higher number of minutes for Gooden. Who is upfront over there, Kemp and Burke?
Burke. And he is on the block along with almost everyone else on my team. Injuries have totally devastated my boys this year.
SF3 If Gooden plays as well today with his new team for the rest of the season the rest of the Bob Finn league is in trouble. Your team is awesome!
Hmm... it appears I accidentally took Troy Murphy out of my starting lineup. Boy did I screw up. I may have cost myself a game with that blunder. That's the 2nd time this season that not checking in on my roster may have cost me a game. Oh well...
