Ha ha. I was expecting this. Congrats on a well-deserved victory. We'll see how well you fare the next time we meet. It looks like I'm going to finish ahead of you for the top spot in the division (and first round playoff bye) for football, though.
Move back FC Brown to center and might as well move back GF Johnson to guard as my troubles at forward should be well under control by now. Then set this lineup for me: C Brown F Butler F Battier F Deng G Johnson G Iverson G Stoudamire G Williams
not sure how and why but Vince is out my line-up.... sure i entered him and the slumping igudola should be on the bench thanks
BobFinn, looks like my trade for The Big Ticket made my lineup for this week 1 man short. Could you add Andres Nocioni?
Shareef and Gooden for Garnett?? Are you freaking kidding me??? That has got to be the most lopsided trade in league history. Enjoy your title, Pimp. There's no way you won't win it now.
I felt the same way. I was going to put this trade up for a league vote, but decided against it (for some reason)
Don't go congratulating me yet. There's too many games left. Actually I think my Stockton/Spreewell trade a couple years back was more of the lopsided type. Since Gooden's minutes have gone down, I can see how you could say this is lopsided, but Shareef's production has been consistently good. Gooden can still put up 35ppg if he can get out of his funk.
Fade - ain't that the truth............ So I guess we can go ahead and complete are Nick Collison for Lebron James trade.........
Actually I screwed up. I looked at SAR and could have sworn he was around 650 total points for the season. I don't really know what I was seeing. I originally thought I was getting a guy at 650 and a guy at about 400. In my mind I was getting 2 guys a more consistent than anyone else on my team except Garnett and Lewis. Obviously I made a mistake, so my team will continue to suck.
Ummm, maybe I'm missing something here.... Shareef Abdur-Rahim - 759 Drew Gooden - 625 Sounds a wee bit better than the 650/~400 you originally thought. BTW, RB/Fade, Gooden got his 35 tonight while Shareef had an off 30. Spare me the lopsided comments and the comparisons to a Collison for King James trade. Just because this isn't a Lebron for KG or Dirk for KG, doesn't mean we both don't benefit. Gooden and SAR on most nights will throw up better numbers than KG, which allows Castor to leave the lower scoring Salmons'/Dunleavy's/Jackson's and LaFrentz' on the bench. Stop the hating! One last thing, KG has 994 for the season. I'm taking my fair share of risk here too if he doesn't pick it up.
Weird, that is what I saw when I ok'd it. But now when I check their individual pages it shows the numbers I posted. The league stats shows the numbers you posted. And to clarify, i wasn't complaining about the deal. I ok'd it based on the numbers you metioned above, and that is fine. After everyone started talking about it I rechecked it and saw the numbers I posted. Not sure why there is a difference though.
Pimp, you're hilarious. Enough with the silly justifications. Just sack up and admit you got a steal here. It's not like the trade is going to be taken back or anything. I compliment you for being able to obtain KG for so little. Nice job there. Had I known he was available, I would have certainly put together something to top that deal. By no means am I giving up -- anything can happen -- but this deal definitely catapults you to the top of the league, making your team the clear favorite.
Finn, It looks as though the lead in our division comes down to: Smush Parker vs. Tony Parker, a parker/parker match-up for first place, however you have about a 10 point cushion...good luck............
It would have been a blowout win for you if Camby played. I think you got the win anyway. Smush is kinda in Phil's doghouse and his playing time has benn cut bigtime.
Ugh... that trade... insane. Barring injury, the league is yours. Oh yeah, and shut up with the "risk" comments, Pimp... nobody ('cept maybe Castor) is buying it. lol. Oh well, there's always next year... FINN! Put that mess up for a vote next time. I should've been paying attention a bit more closely. Oh well, Shaq's back... and my team is rocking (although in danger of possibly losing to PSJ's freakin' team)
