Ok, maybe you're right. For some reason I thought we'd been doing this for longer than we have... We've gotten through less than 7 rounds in about 6 days or so. We've got about 4-4.5 rounds left. Hmm... maybe we do have time if everybody picks promptly.

 

Man, I was trying to post last night my pick. The site was completely down, but I did make the pick on the draft site.

I picked Mehmet Okur.

 

Dude, don't give us that. lol. We were waiting hours for you to pick. You only had a few minutes left to pick the last time I looked. Besides, don't worry about this site being down - make the pick on the league site. If the league site is down, make the pick here. If both are down at the same time, we're in trouble.

 

Can anyone check the old #houstonrockets room and see if Zac is there? I can't access mIRC from work.

 

I made the pick on the site when I got home around midnight. But how am I going to notify you guys what pick I made if the site is down? Do it through the draft board? No one posts on that message board.

Now you said I had a few minutes left....was that counting from this morning or last night?

Your time I think was supposed to expire around 11:30 last night. I could be wrong. No big deal. As for this site being down, that shouldn't matter. I thought you were saying you didn't make your pick on the league site because you couldn't post it here because this site was down. Technically, people should be checking both.

Still have a list for Smeg, but it was for last round, so I think it's best to wait for him.

 

His list is exhausted anyway.

 

If I am at the computer the best way to know a pick has been made is if ppl do it at the league site - they should still post at the BBS, but if not a pick have been skipped I think it has to be put in at the league site. I have the draft thingy at the site open all the time when I am at the computer and the site gives a beep everytime it picks - heck maybe I can even hear that beep when in the other room as well.

When ppl have been skipped (not that that have happened often this time (kudos everybody)) you will actually have to check the BBS every now and then to know a pick has been made - and if you do that say only every 30 mins (or whatever interwall) then you could get the notice that much later and the draft could be delayed more.

Not that an extra half hour is a lot, but that could lead to a later pick not being around and delaying it further.

But we should be able to finish on time if we are not getting any more hickups like the BBS being down created yesterday.
