Well that sucks to be me if that's the case. There's quick a few of players, like Okafor, Bosh, and Howard that all played C for their teams for most of the season and are all listed as F's. If we're running this anything like baseball, once they play "X" number of games at a position the year before they should qualify...that's my two cents.

On that note, I stand to screw myself again with

DWIGHT HOWARD (F and hopefully C)

Yeah. Besides, the only way we'd be able to get position clarification for all players in the fantasy section of nba.com is to pay for the premium content, and I don't think anyone here would want to waste $$ on that garbage.

That's not the way it worked last year, though maybe that's changed. Howard is listed as only a F. I think Okafor is listed as a FC if you haven't made the pick official on the site yet. Bosh is a F too.

I think we all agreed last year that the bio pages is what we use and even if they put Yao at G, that's where he'd play in our league, too. :)

That being said, how did we handle the combo position guys like Jermaine O'Neal that are listed as C-F? Were they multi-position in our league, too? Is that even possible? I don't recall.

Last year we would just tell Finn if we wanted the player for a diff position and he would change it for us to make the lineup legal.

    Cool.

So Jent... are you done picking? Or are you still looking. I ask since the site doesn't have your pick of Dwight Howard.

Guess so. Fade took away the guesswork there.

Bob could you give the official word how the "position" thing will be treated. Are we going with the Bio as a starting point and then you can add a position if they had enough starts there the prior season? Thanks!

I don't think we ever have added positions as we go.

We haven't and I'd prefer to keep it that way.

There are quite a few players I can justify taking here (why I took so long) but I'll go with the guy with the highest ceiling and take:

    Chris Bosh.

Nice pick. A little high IMO, but still a good pick.

Glad I helped Fade with my list.
Since he took both of my picks, I'll go with...

    PAU GASOL

    Pimp then nWo...

I hope nWo's following this thread and not the official site since the site is now out of whack. :(

Is there a problem with the site since jent now have made 2 picks without updating his 1st one yet?

You have taken enough of my picks over the years. Time to return the favor. :p

Seriously though, I had Okafor targetted since my first rounder (assuming Francis and Marbury didn't fall). I liked what I saw from him last year.

The other pick was tougher. I almost grabbed Gasol myself. I had him lumped together with Bosh and two other players who are still available. Believe it or not, the final factor for me taking Bosh was the fact that I get to see a lot of Raptors games on TV (and will get to watch him play in person on Dec.18th when I see the Raps/76ers game). :)

I knew you were going to take him, so as my backup plan I'll take Melo.
