OK, this is holding things up and I frankly don't care if he switches Swift to forward and selects Cato for center. He'll still be able to finish with the required 5-5-2.
There's a week left before the season and we have less than 3 rounds left. I'm sure Puedlfor will pick fairly soon. We'll get it done.
Got an email from Fanstar today. The site will be updated in the next 24 hours. FG%, FT %, Utility players (for lineup purposes) and multi-position players. I have no idea how they decide who is a multi-positional player or what positions a player is eligible for. We will have to wait and see.
New rule for next year: If you don't check back within 12 hours to make sure your pick is valid, you automatically are given the Utah Jazz player of our unanimous choice.
I say we set a limit, that if he doesn't pick, that instead of having someone else pick for him, or have the group pick a player for him, that it is better to skip him, let the next in line pick, then give Pued another hour, then give the pick to the next guy, give Pued another hour etc. Of course if Pued picks before the next guy in line after his time limit is up, it is still his pick, the limit is just a limit on how long the next in line have to wait before being able to pick, if he's not in line/ready to make the pick after the hour Pued still can make his pick. That is certainly better than having any of us decide who to pick for him. The question is if it is better than having someone outside the league pick for him, and I say it is this late in the draft. Opinions?
Rules and Laws are made to keep people decent. Pued didn't do anything indecent here. He just made his pick. And I hardly think any damage has been done to anyone because of it. In my opinon give him the player he picked and let's move on. .
I'd rather just give him Cato than continue to wait for him to show up. I'd rather not skip him or have anyone pick for him. hey ho, let's go.
Now if everyone will pass on Cato, Pood can pick him up after the draft when the 5-5-2 rule goes out the window
