hmm. are we definitely going by nba.com, bob? Because I'm not sure why Jackson is listed as a forward... he played center last year for Minnesota, and he's slated to play center this year for Philly. He's also listed as a center by ESPN. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3205 I'll take him as a forward if I need to - it's no big deal - but I don't think there's any doubt that he plays the 5 on a regular basis. What do you think, bob?
I would agree with you that Jackson plays center also Cat, but that's not the issue. NBA.com is what was posted as the source for positions. The only reason I knew off the bat that Marc Jackson wasn't a center is because I evaluated him as my pick and saw he could only play forward. It shouldn't be up for interpretation for each player picked. I've never, ever heard of Rasheed Wallace being considered a center (in fact he's the starting small forward), but since NBA.com has him listed that way, he is given the ability to play it in our league. We have to stick by it.
I put Marc Jackson as Forward Cat, so you need to draft another Center. I didn't even think to check NBA.com. I hereby declare this 9th round as the "Jackson4" round. So far this round the following have been selected: Pimp-Stephen Jackson Cat- Marc Jackson Heath- Bobby Jackson Pood- Jim Jackson Behad has the next 2 picks
That's fine - I didn't think about it in terms of you or anyone else considering him. That makes sense. I just hope there's not a big gap between Jackson and who my top pick at forward was...
