I took a chance and let Caron Butler go (thinking he would easily come back around) and took Vin Baker. Clutch grabbed him 2 picks before I would have taken him. I did get Theo Ratliff in his place however, so it wasn't a total loss.

Clarence Weatherspoon.

It was between him and Coleman, and I thought Spoon had a better chance of getting back to me, so I got greedy and went with Coleman.

Still, not really a loss unless Coleman doesn't suit up this season and 2 of my starters get injured for a long period of time.

Darius Miles

I was really taking a chance that he would last longer than he did. I think he is gonna bust out like T-Mac did last year.

I just wanted to whine that 6 of my 12 players I drafted are currently hurt. Tinsley sprained his ankle last night. PJ Brown has a sore ankle and has missed all preseason. McDyess was tearing up the up the competition and then I picked him and he tore up his knee. Wagner is out with some kind of freak blood clot/ bladder infection. Odom is out but I knew he would be when I drafted him. Kenny Thomas dislocated his thumb shortly after I drafted him.

That's half my roster icing it down. I'll have to pull off a miracle just to field 8 players for week 1. :( If this is any indication of how my season's going to go then I'm in for a long one. :p

EDIT: I forgot to add that Troy Hudson has been nursing a sore hammy as well. So that's over half my roster. And one more thing Gasol started off the preseason with a sore wrist but hopefully its healed by now.

Matador, DO NOT pick up any Rockets from the waiver wire. Jazz, Laker and Spurs players are ok for you to pick up.

Matador is cursed. His players get injured.

Matador is not cursed, he just forgot to find out about the curse of ODOM, i think i took him with my 3rd pick last year and he destroyed me and also infected plenty of other players.

Boys - here's one for the old school vets, Go WilD!!!

Don't talk about curses to me... my curse only kicks in at the end of the season. However I think I've solved that problem by having a so-so draft... now I shall suck throughout the season. :D

OK this is why I was asking about not getting players immediately off of waivers. I was set to pick up Micheal Redd off waivers as soon as Finn put in the rosters and for some reason Jack's Broke Ankles got him and I didn't. Why is that? There haven't been any games played so no team has a worse fantasy record.

The problem is though that the draft order in the Yahoo! system is not correct. It's not how we really ran our draft order, so the waiver priorities seem to be off. Doesn't affect me since I got who I tried to pick up, but if it's possible to reassign the waiver priorities, we should:

Correct me if I'm wrong -- the waiver priorities should be:

1. Pimp
2. Heath
3. Cat
4. D0D
5. Crisco
6. BobFinn
7. Smeg
8. PhiSlammaJamma
9. SF3
10. Fadeaway
11. Behad
12. Matador
13. SSG (picked up Redd, dropped from #2)
14. Clutch (picked up K. Clark, dropped from #6)

This is how it currently is:

1. Pimp
2. SF3
3. Crisco
4. DoD
5. Heath
6. Matador
7. Smeg
8. Fadeaway
9. Behad
10. TheCat
11. PhiSlammaJamma
12. BobFinn
13. SSG
14. Clutch

Your right Clutch. I forgot to put in the draft order after I loaded the rosters. I saw that Pimp and SSG had the first 2 spots on the waiver wire so I thought it was correct. After I noticed the order was not correct, I went in to change it but it was too late. They took that option away from me (once the rosters were loaded they give you like 5 minutes to change it).

It didn't make a difference in the outcome anyway.

Also, once you claim a player from the waiver wire, you go to the back of the line.
