Nevermind... I added it to the first post in this thread. (D'oh... just noticed I have to edit out the double SSG's in the chart and dump Heath in there somewhere)
Also, can somebody clarify the rules. What did we do last year as far as if we drafted a PF/C as a C. Could they play PF during the season? I don't remember. I know we called out positions during the draft so people wouldn't load up on any one position (which I don't care anyway - if you want 5 C's go ahead).
Center I guess. But according to Finn's last statement, sounds like we do have multipositions. We did have multiposition players last year, I believe. THe reason we called them out is because we had drafting restrictions. The biggie was we could only draft 3 centers to prevent center hoarding, which I don't think is a big deal anyway. Not sure what the limit was on Gs and Fs.
I was hoping for Dirk or Kobe. I'll need to check out some info at home before I pick. Should be in 2-3 hours or so. At the library now.
READ THIS I just looked at Bob's rules from last year (Crisco's right) : "You will draft 2 centers, 5 forwards and 5 guards." "If you were to draft Dirk Nowitzki you must say F or C, if you claim him as a F then you will be able to draft 2 C's, but Nowitzki would be eligible to play the C position as well (since he is listed on the site as a C." If no one has any objections, I'll add this to the first post...
yeah, this was in the opening post of last year's draft thread: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66213 I don't think we're doing the draft limits this year as nothing has been mentioned about it ... btw, everyone should check nba.com when drafting their players, as some will not be multipos as expected. For example, Lebron is a f, not a g - f. It doesn't make much difference now as its mostly bpa, but it will matter later in the draft.
I say we just stick with what we did last year... unless you guys want to do a quick vote on the draft limits. If we don't vote, the first post in this thread contains the rules you have to abide by during the season and the draft (uh... for the most part).
lol. I'd prefer no draft limits but it isn't that big of a deal really. I say we just go by whatever Finn says whenever he checks in. I doubt this would affect anyone's draft strategy(I'm being generous here ) til the 3rd or 4th round at the earliest.
Can anyone confirm the scoring system? There still hasn't been any word on that. (sorry to add further confusion) Also, it turns out there's a chemical fire here at work, and they're clearing everyone out. I may be out of touch for a little while, but I don't think it should affect my pick(s). Especially at the rate we're going.
DarkHorse, Check the first post - that should be the scoring system unless I missed something. fadeaway, You b*stard!
