Doesn't look good. Now my only hope is for Clutch and Matador to drop out, and I wouldn't want Clutch to drop out.
NBA.com is what we used last year I believe, but even they had goofy assignments for players. Like I said, I couldn't care less which one we use - just don't get into round 2 and start b****ing about "no way he's a SF!!!! If I had known that, I wouldn't have drafted him!"
Draft day is up to Bobo. He's the boss man. I don't mind having the draft on Monday, but keep in mind we barely have 2 weeks to draft at that point.
Not sure Smeg, but we may have to risk it. I know last year they were a pain in the butt. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Keep in mind by the time we get things rolling we'll only have about 2-2.5 weeks to do this draft.
I know Yahoo has a bad rap, but you can do a customizable point system on there. The positions could be problematic, however, since you have no control over them. Yahoo is free, though.
Yeah we also had a need for multiple games per week as well. We wanted 2 games a week - I don't think Yahoo does that, right?
I went ahead and ran the random number generator in Excel and came up with the draft order this season just like I did last season. The first post in this thread has been updated to show the draft order for everyone. BobFinn* wins the #1 pick this season. Pimp gets the butt-end of the 1st round.
trying no to offend those who are desperately wanting in, but if 2 people pull out i would prefer we went to 12 teams
I think everyone is kind of waiting with baited breath to see if Clutch is in or not. I know I am. That said, I'm ready to draft now.
6th spot, eh? Hmmm.... Not the most ideal position, but I'll make it work. Heck, Yao might even be a consideration at that spot.
