I think we should stick with the actual league's online draft system instead of doing our own. It makes it seem more official and fun, like a real GM. Plus, they have player rankings, detailed stats, etc.. Give the Sportsline format a fair shot. I have heard good things about it. Yahoo bites

campaign speeches would be funny. i like that. a bit of humility. well i will throw my vote into the ring now. i vote for The Cat i do this because i enjoy his negotiations and honesty. not that the others are dishonest, but i just prefer the no nonsense method of brokering a deal. sorry heath i would love to be able to vote twice
VoR, the voting will take place via email. No one will know who votes for who except myself and the person who votes. This way no one gets offended ( just in case someone might be offended).
i guess ill throw my hat in the ring too ive played sandbox basketball before and finished one game out of 1st last yr(came down to last game vs league winner) and traded for shaq and mcgrady as my two keepers im also the kings in the sim basketball league and field a very good team yr in and out
I'd like to join the league as well. I like the idea of forming two groups maybe so nobody gets left out of the fray. I've played with most of ya'll in the sandbox baseball and football league, and imagine the activity would be more intense for basketball. So if there's room and ya'll like, I'd be in for triple crown (assuming I make the two game comeback in baseball, and my 1-0 footy record will stretch over the length of the season).
You just want the clear way to the championship, if I'm not there it would be noone left to stop the SmeggyBlazers to win season 2. Oh wait, this was not The Cat's sim league.
yea, i like chris's idea. I could manage the other league if you want, i have experience running leagues. that way all of the people that dont get voted for can still play, and we could have the winner of that league go into Finn's league, switching out with the last place team in his. Just an idea though

The only stipulation is the scoring system must be the same as ours. Our voting should be finished by next weekend as to who gets in. As to who runs the other league, I will leave that to you guys to figure out who gets to be the commish. Just let me know so we can coordinate the scoring setup.
I know there's no way I get voted into that last spot over Cat, Heath etc ...but if a second league is started count me in!
I would be happy to be the commish of the 2nd league, assuming that an absolute miracle happens and i win the last spot I love to run leagues, and am very organized.
