I am going to try to use the same scoring system we had the first year, at sandbox (if yahoo allows it) : 1 pt for each pt scored 2 pts for rebounds, assists, blocks, steals 1 extra point per 3-pointer scored FG shooting (min 6 shots) was: 90-100 % = 4 pts 80-90 = 3 70-80 = 2 60-50 = 1 FT shooting (min 4 shots) 100% = 4pts 99-90 = 3 89-80 = 2 79-70 = 1 minus 3 pts for each technical foul minus 1 for each turnover No penalty for regular fouls.
The Capitol City Pimps are ready to keep my title whenever you ladies are. We started drafting last year on the 8th and finished just over a week into it I think. I'd like to prepare, but if you guys want to start, let's do this. Are we going to have a random draft order again??
I was wondering about that. How will we determine draft order? Random number generator? Maybe Clutch can even create a tweaked version of the "Quest for Balls" lotto generator, in which we all have even odds, then get an impartial outsider to determine the results, and announce them dramatically in chat, like at the lottery. That would be cool.
I have to work Wednesday and Thursday nights (until 10:30) and I'll be in Dallas for Texas-OU this weekend, so if we're going to start it this week, I'd really like it to be tomorrow so that I can be here for the first few rounds of drafting for my team. BTW, I love the idea of a random lottery generator.
I will put everyones name in a hat, first name picked will have last pick of Round 1 (first pick of Round 2). The last name selected will have the coveted #1 Overall pick of the Draft. The draft will go as follows: Round 1 1-14 Round 2 14-1 Round 3 1-14 Round 4 14-1 etc... There will be 12 rounds. All picks will be posted on the BBS. Once the draft starts we may try to set up a time to meet in the chat room to speed up the draft as well as talk some smack When does everyone want me to determine the draft order? I could hold the drawing in the chat room.
what about holding a live chat to write the names on pieces of paper and then another for the selection of the hat and then another for putting them in the hat
LOL!!! I just printed out the names and am folding them and into the hat they go. It is a Rockets hat by the way

I was thinking of holding the drawing tomorrow before the Rockets game in the chat room. There should be around 80 to 100 people in there Wouldn't that be fun?

I'm on vacation the 11-17th. I won't be on the computer that much during that time. Maybe once a day if the houston hotels have a computer. At the MGM grand I will probably have to play slots in order to use the computer. Just an FYI.
