I woke up long enough to grab a revitalized Kelvin Cato off the waiver wire Dude is posting great numbers!
The Cat, DoD -- thanks for the heads up. That was exactly the info I was looking for earlier. I like Sportsline's interface... much better than Yahoo's. But man the scoring is so much different (I like it.... just a very different mindset) My team blows, but my goal is to beat someone before the season is out Maybe a deal will be struck soon.... time to rebuild baby, and Jackhouse may have to pimp himself for the good of the Monkey Hookers franchise.
Well Ren said he'd send me $100 cash if I did the deal... is that legal? Kidding.... my team is bad, so I'm rolling the dice on Griffin (though I don't like how he's shooting and KT coming back isn't going to help) and getting Battier should help. Clearly Mutombo is going to help also. My team has jack in the way of forwards so while Wally and Jerry (bothguards) were two of my three best players, if they could bring in some forward depth, I had to do it. I was looking to make a deal, and Ren's worked for me (I hope). It's a very good deal for Ren I think. Besides, he was the only one who made me an offer that didn't try to pillage my roster
True, it gives you 4 servicable players (Anderson is very inconsistent) It puts Ren in the upper echelon. Adding Wally and Stack to Francis, McGrady and Lewis should have D0D looking over his shoulder (Pimp sure doesn't)
Good grief... it looks like Baron Davis' lame game is gonna hurt me this game. I don't wanna lose to the freakin' Fury. The O'Neal boys are tough... This should be a close one. And Bobo, for the love of God, would you PLEASE tell Ratliff to start playing... this Nasal Mohammed clown of the Fury is making me scared even though he got into foul trouble the last game. Well, on a brighter note, Lorenzen's practicing... woo hoo. Oh, and the latest stats should be up sometime tonight...
BTW, Ren definitely got the better of this deal. Mutombo has been very unreliable this season and Anderson is inconsistent as our dope smoking commish stated. Griffin and Battier can be good, but won't give the numbers Stack and Wally can. I just don't see how the numbers matchup. Clutch, I think you could have gotten a better deal.
Well Im a little surprised, I thought I withdrew the deal after offering it but I guess not. Im happy though I needed a change Clutch needed players, I needed some help to stay in the runing if Im still in the runing,I may not even have a chance anymore!?! IMO,Griffin will keep his current numbers up and that has been around 35-45 FP a game and he will also keep Clutch a little more interested in his team with a Rocket on it, I know it does me. I didnt care about giving up Kenny and Mutumbo but I wanted to keep Battier and Griffin.MoreGumbo displeased me this year and Kenny Anderson is well........on Boston and can have a 55fp game one night and a 4fp the next night.
I didnt notice the 4 objections, I guess the deal is dead anyways I thought it was a fair deal to both teams I guess you guys didnt think so.Can I offer a new trade to Clutch NOW or do I have to wait for the waiting period to be over?I can go a little better but not much.
Ron Artest - G/F - Chicago Bulls Feb 1 Ron Artest's pinkie finger is bothering him again, and he's considering season-ending surgery. Artest stunned the Bulls with his announcement after Thursday's practice. He said he almost certainly wouldn't play Saturday against Seattle. Coach Bill Cartwright wasn't sure exactly what to make of the situation, but he didn't seem ready to believe Artest. "I think he'll play [Saturday]," Cartwright said. Expect further clarification on Artest's status this weekend. If he misses Saturday's game, Trenton Hassell and Fred Hoiberg will have to step up Poor Smeg
Personally, you could re-offer that trade to Clutch and I would ok it. I don't think the trade is that lopsided and I've seen a lot worse. The only time I will object is when it appears that one team is trying to collude with another. I don't see that here. Nor do I think one party is deliberately taking advantage of the other's intelligence.
