    Welcome Clutch.

For once in the history of this site, you will know what it's like to not be the top dog! :)

You can't argue w/ the choice of Clutch to take over a team. Good luck!

Well, I guess there are worse things than being passed over for Clutch. ;)

I'm not sure what you're talking about Bobo, but that kind of effort has always been there on my team this season.

    A-hem,

    Fadeaways Defending Champs - 846
    STEAMTOWN PYTHONS - 805

These are the only numbers that matter.

Great effort from your team last night, though. I swore to myself when I saw Cato & Mobley's box scores. Hopefully you won't keep it up.

Well, seeing how I was 120 pts back going into last night, I did cut into that. (a little anyway);)

Hopefully we can keep it up and finish you off:D

Well sorry it took me so long to respond! Damn work deadlines, family, the site, contract work .... all keeping me from the reason for life: Fantasy hoops.

SamCassell -- did you want to play? I feel bad if you did.... sorry. I just got offered the chance to play and took it -- didn't know there were other candidates.

OK.... my team sucks, I'm dead last (or second to last) and thanks for the warm welcome of bad, bad trade offers. hehe... As bad as my team is (no offense VOR), Szczerbiak and Stackhouse are untouchables unless I can get a good player in return (not the scrubs being offered) :)

"Monkey Hookers" -- did anyone ever watch the goofy, low-budget puppet show on MTV about 4 years ago called "Sifl-N-Olly" ? The first season was absolutely hysterical.... I loved it. Then MTV butchered it the next season... but damn it was funny.

I was telling the story of one of their skits to a friend of mine in a fantasy league some time ago.... it was about "Monkey Hookers", so I thought. It was actually "Hooker Monkeys", but it had been a few years. He thought it was funny and would make a good fantasy league teamname.... so I went with it in my other league this year. Makes no sense.... but sounds funny together.

But if you want to hear clips of that skit...

Bobbo, I guess that means the "minor" league moves too?

Clutch, I set up a poll on the league site with the names of people who wanted to replace VOR. You won by 1 vote! Funny, but after I disclosed that you had accepted the invitation to join, you then got 2 more votes  That wouldn't have been you voting for yourself, now would it?:D

Never heard of it Clutch, maybe because I stopped watching MTV about 10 years ago.

mduke, Yes, both leagues will revert back to sandbox next year. It is, by far, the best site for fantasy sports games on the web IMHO.

I did vote for myself once! :) No clue on the second one though ....

Mark Jackson and Hakeem Olajuwon for Wally Szczerbiak? He was going to do that deal? When ... 1995?

Guys -- I'm seriously impressed with how good of a league you run. Puts the other one I'm in to shame. Some of you should write for the site.... can't believe you do weekly recaps. Very cool ...

Aaaaaah, Pimp, you suck! I thought with Rahim down, I'd walk all over you in this game. Then I noticed you had about a 5 game advantage on me!

Even without him you have a 1 game advantage on me I think.

Now Baron Davis goes and has a lame game while Antoine has a sub-par game... I'm back to sweating bullets again. :(

I guess we minor leaguers just have to work ourself up to the majors the way it was meant to be.

So Clutch - after you finish last this year... will we be seeing you in the minors next year? :D

And while in on the subject - how many teams was going to be moved up and down? Was it both division winners/losers, or did you all decide on 1 team only? (my chance of joing the big leagues look to be the same anyway as I'm 2nd in what equal's the real western division, although I think the strong conference/division is east in our league. If only Matador can lose a game or two then it will open up considerably in the minors too.) If there is one team going down - is that decided by record or a relegation playoff between the bottom two teams?
