Cheap my a$$ I had a 33-27 game advantage, but Derek Anderson had 5 of those games. Replace Derek Anderson with Webber, who only had one game, and it's a 29-27 game advantage...hardly a game breaker. Now, subtract DA's 93 he has scored so far, and we head into Sunday with the score 1033-978 in your favor, a 55 point advantage. I have A.Davis, Marion, Brand and Webber to make up a 55 point difference. So far, Brand has 48 and Davis has 54. So, at an even 27 games apiece, I would have 47 point lead with Webber and Marion still to play. Cheap? No way. I beat you fair and square.
I fixed the Rotoworld link on the website. If anybody uses it. Ren- No word yet on Donyell. I will look around and see what I can find out.
Yeah, Webber looks fairly human tonight...he only has 54 points...IN THE FIRST HALF!! You're going down, Pimp!
He's in my lineup this week. ERob is supposed to be back this week as well, but I will wait to see how his game is before starting him.
This from Rotoworld.com Lamond Murray scored 16 points to lead the Cavaliers, who lost their sixth straight. Murray was the only Cavalier to score in double figures in Sunday night's blow out loss the the Blazers. Murray was 6-for-12 from the field and 4-for-6 from the free throw line. Thanks for the good karma, DoD!!!
Dream on BeenHad. The Duncan-Rahim-Pierce Triad also known as the Capitol City Pimps are going to take you back to school and give you a lesson in Ass-Whipping 101!!!
Yes, the streak had to come to an end sometime, but my stats still dominate this league. No one is close!! Neener neener neener! Good game Smegma! Now I hope I can exact some revenge on Lard Boy. Take Pimp out for me Behad... I'll buy you some brisket to cook for me or something... lol.
Lords of The Black Top - Pts For 11950.0 Pts Against 10159.0 Capitol City Pimps - Pts For 11624.0 Pts Against 10040.0 Seems pretty close to me.
The only thing that tells how good a team you have is fantasy points per fantasy game played. The above numbers are skewed towards people that load up on games week after week which is what I hate most about our league this year. Sandbox's limitations on the number of games per position helped alleviate this "loading up". The way CBS sportsline does their scoring means records don't convey how good a team is unless they are just flat out head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. Points For/Points Against is hokum (especially points against). Don't worry Pimp Daddy, your team is every bit as good as mine if not better, but I'm saying I don't think Smeg's for example is that much worse as records or points for/points against may imply. I'll show ya what I mean when I get home in a few minutes...
Dr, I understand what you're saying, I sure I'll put my hand up for loading up on games, but I'm just playing by the (absence of) rules, but my deep line-up certainly makes it possible. Smeg
Now lets talk recaps So far only Bob, Beenhad and myself have written recaps. We didn't have one for last week and need one for this week, come on guys it only takes 5 minutes step up and show us your stuff. Smeg
I know what you're saying DoD and you're right. Sandbox has a much better format to level the playing field for all teams by restricting the number of games per position throughout the season. That is the one key aspect I miss most too. We'll definitely have to switch back to Sandbox next year. Smeg, I'm about to go to work, so if no one else writes a recap, I'll do so when I get home tonight and send it to the Killer B's. Good luck this week guys!!
