I think Heath came in second. Bring him in if he's still interested.

When will the newbie startn on the season.........and.....Does this mean he takes over the BobFinn FL spot permanetly or does VOR claim his team next year?

I gotta believe that the newbie takes the spot permanently and VOR has to re-earn his spot thru the minor leagues.

I'd like the opportunity to join y'alls league. I'm leading the minor league w/ an 8-1 record. I believe Heath and SteveFrancis3 are tied for second w/ a 6-3 record.

I think I would be able to provide Bob Finn's league w/ some competion although I doubt I'm as good as some of you pros. I've been able to compile my 8-1 record w/ my second round pick (McDyess) being injured.

    Thanks for the consideration.

    I just noticed too :D

I only started 7 players for the week and Im actually wining but only by 54fp and Smeg having more games!

I just have to tell my players to go out and do thier best and if we come out losers then the blame is on the coach this time

No, now you are losing....and to PhiSlammaJamma, not Smeg.

Smeg is currently getting spanked by C-Webb and company. Say good bye to first place, Smug! :D

Plus a 3 games to one advantage tonight, including Webber, who scored....ummm...oh yeah, 73 last night. It'll be a spanking by end of tonight!

    I'm baaaaaaaaccccckkkk:)

Great job of running the league Behad. You have earned the right to deputy commish for the remainder of the season.

D0D- Great work with the stats. Now if you could just go on a losing streak...:D

As far as VOR's situation, should we pull the first place minor league team owner up? Or do we bring in a BBS vet? Any input is appreciated.

Nice job behad, pity Joe Smith bailed on me, if I had known and replaced him with Artest that would have been another 170 for me.

Is five Derek Anderson games worth one Chris Webber game??

DA has really sucked lately, but he has been playing on a bad ankle. Has anybody seen anything on whether he will be playing? If I play DA, I have a 33-27 game advantage over PSJ, and with Webber I still have a 29-27 advantage.

How would you guys do it?

This is an honest question posed to the best fantasy owners in the world, not just a target for y'alls cheesy one line lame smack talk.

I'd start DA. Looking at he averages from DOD's stats Webber will put up about 50 fantasy points and DA will put up 150 fantasy points.

On the other hand, I don't know the severity of DA's injury and if he has a chance of missing games then it would be risky. Assuming DA scores his averages then he would only have to play 3 games to outpoint Webber.

Another option is to drop DA for Jeff McInnis (if he isn't already owned) since he is playing 5 times also and is healthy.

    Bahed,

Anderson played tonight, his line was

    25 min 7 pts, 5 rebs and 4 assists

that would be 35 pts 25 rebs and 20 assists for the week.

That would have to a pretty big game for CWebb to top that!

I had been watching his injury status since the season started and you picked him up before I had a chance to nab him. I knew he was supposed to come back in December, but oh well. There are 2 teams I'm wary of picking up players from : Chicago and the Clippers. There's no telling who's going to do what on those teams. I've had players from each this season and it's a roller coaster ride knowing whether or not they'll score 20 fantasy points or 45. It's too early to see if Artest was a big pick up, but I think he's a good fantasy player.

Oh, and did you like the way my team absolutely choked against yours on the first night's games? Ugh. :)

    Say Bob,

I'll pick up that squad. The minor league is terribly slow, with no trades and even less talk between the owners. I'm ready to step it up if ya'll need the extra player. Thing is, I'm not currently in first, got the second most points but that and 25 cents will get me....well nowhere. Anyhow, most of ya'll are aware that I'm active owners from previous Sandbox basketball, baseball and football leagues (even though Cat, I mean Marshall Faulk, stole my football title). Anyhow, give me the word when ya'll get around to voting.

I know what you are talking about chrisjent - I tried getting something going earlier when I posted that all my players were available. But not a single response. Not even from you. ;)

Btw I'm still open for trading :p
