I was telling Ren that Miles is a "Forward" (F) not a "Guard" (G). I think it's a decent pick, but there's no telling who's going to score big on that team on any given night.

They are expecting big things from Miles in Clipperland this season. If Olawakandi struggles early, look for a frontcourt of Brand, Odom and Miles to get a majority of the playing time. Miles has too much talent to sit on the bench.

I posted this earlier in this thread (during the break we had) and only got 1 response. Lets try this again: How do you guys want to set up the playoff system: 1. 2 division winners play a 1 game final to determine the champion...or 2. 2 division winners plus 2 wildcards (teams that finish second in their divisions) in a 2 week playoff format.
The east/west divisions were set up according to our real life locations. Everyone in the east (except SSG, I think) live in the east and the west guys are all in Texas.
2 division winners - 1 game final. I hate playoffs to begin with. You can be absolutely the best team with no doubt for the rest of the season and have one game and lose it all. That just sucks.
I don't live in either Redneckville or the Eastern Hemisphere, can i have my own DownUnder conference. Does it mean we have more games against the teams in our conference. Not fussed about finals set-up, if things are real tight then probably the wild-card system is fairer but if there are clear cut winners in each conference then the 1 final game is better?????
Ok Smeg, I will set up an "Aussie" division for you. Your team has clinched the division and you are in the playoffs I would like the the 2 division winners to square off for the championship. Thats my vote. What was your vote Smeg? Couldn't make heads or tails out of that
Yeah i deliberately didn't make a decision was just debating the merits of each system, really don't mind, what the heck wild card will keep the excitement level higher, how do they players in the playoffs work, do we have the same players, and if so does this mean they are held in the last week of the season????

I just wanted to blame all you guys for making me fall asleep at work today. It was not a good thing. Hopefully I can make my picks before 10 tonight. As for playoffs, I vote that each division winner play the second place team from the other conference, then the two winners play for the championship. But I'll agree to whatever the majority wants.
