so is the draft still postponed till after the weekend or what?

I don't really mind all that much. I think some people weren't going to have computer access this weekend. But I'm weak. Any longer than that and I'll start hitting things. I need my fantasy bball fix dammit!!

    :p

my team rocks!! They just don't know it yet.

Hey Finn, I know you can't figure this out right now since cbs is down, but I have a few questions that I would like answered.

    1. how many games are there? 1 a week, 2 a week?

    2. is the scoring for each player a cumulative score for the above time periods or is it an average?(I would not like an average score as much)

    3. If the scoring is cumulative, then is there a game limit for each position like sandbox had(which would be cool) or would you just be able to load up on a bunch of games every week?(not so cool)

I think that's it for now. I just assumed that these aspects of the game would be like sandbox, but now I'm not so sure.

    1. 1 game a week. I am trying to find out if we can have 2 games a week like last year.

    2. Cumulative

    3. Not sure about game limits. Once the page is updated we should find out the answer.

    cool, thanks finn.

imo, 1 or 2 games a week, not that big of a difference, although I would prefer 2 a week. It would be damaging though if someone gets an injury that lasts a few games and then they have to wait the whole week before they can alter their lineup.

I hope there is game limits for the positions, but even if there isn't, I don't think it would be too bad, it would just require a changing of strategies.

If there are no game limits, then everyone would be in the same boat. As such, owner strategy becomes more important: do I use Camby for three games at PF or Webber for one? Those types of decisions would make for a more interesting contest than going into a game knowing you will be out-gamed 20 to 15 with nothing you can do about it.

Of course you would play Cambys 3 games over Webber. Where is the strategy in that? Deciding whether or not getting Camby's extra points is worth cutting into your overall game limits is where strategy comes in.

No, not everyone would be in the same boat. Everyone would be if they had to start each position for 82 games. Making that a variable would unbalance it. If you are efficient with when to break your starting lineup and op for more games and when to go for less games, then you shouldnt have a problem with managing your your game limits.

Makes it more interesting than a mad dash to the waiver wire every week to pick up the player with the most games.

And even without game limits there would still be game disparitys.

I just want the system as close as last year's was.

    Guys,

Let's get the draft running again. The Sportsline site has updated and the player database is updated. Now we can view who's a F and who's a G, etc.

Is there any reason we should wait any longer? If not, let's get this bad boy rolling!!!!

Wink.. weren't you in our league last year??

Why do I remember a team owned by Wink..?
Also, wasn't Rob from Lubbock in the league?

Rob used to do those RealAudio league updates. That was really cool.

*lol* Did we forget about those guys?
