Sounds good Crisco. We will go with that plan. CBS should be starting their fantasy stuff very soon. I have looked around the web, and there are very few sites that have started fantasy basketball. We are all in such a rush, we want it now. We will just have to be more patient, I guess.

I think we should just wait. If we do it for PF/C why not pg/sg or sg/sf? It seems to me waiting and possibly setting up a draft day would solve all our problems. Just my two cents.

Actually, now that I think about it, if there isn't a f/c position that you can do( like how they have F, G , C). If there is one, cool, if not, then...

then you could just set the starters to 2F, 2G and 4 active(flex)

since we would be using the honor system with either method, one of the active spots should be filled by a c/pf that Finn has designated as a player that could be considered as a center.

Oh, and if someone does cheat, they forfeit their win and earns a trip to the minors :)

Or I could start 3 forwards, 2 guards and 3 flex.

Lets just put the Draft on hold for a couple of days. Maybe CBS will update everything this weekend.

we already have pg/sg - G :) we are using the honor system for that already too.

sg/sf -? if you pick a sf and he turns out to be a sg, o well, I don't think there would be many cases of that happening.

The problem with centers is that there aren't that many teams with true centers, so they actually start pfs at center, so it gets tricky classifying who is a center and who is not when you get into the debate of natural postion vs position they have to play.

THE DRAFT IS ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

We will wait for cbs to update so we know what positions players will be listed at.

    Wow,this was a big surprise!!!

Is the draft on hold or will we start over all together?

Well since the draft is on hold Im off until tommorrow.

BTW,Yes I was the idiot that traded Stackhouse right after the draft.I traded him for Raef Lafrentz because I didnt have a center and had Francis and I didnt understand the Flex positions.Hey,I had Jamie Feick,Matt Geiger, and Greg Ostertag on my team not including Harrington(Othella)so I like live drafts a LOT:D

should the 2nd league postpone as well until cbs corrects itself, and what if their lineup roster becomes diff than we thought when srafting(like no center), then what do we do

Oh no, I'm don't know if CBS will allow me to use my shooting guard as a small forward. Boo-hoo! Geez, you guys are a bunch of whiny b****es!

Fine, stop the draft. This will give me more time to see a couple players I've had an eye on.

I still say we throw out CBS's rules(or flaws in the system) and try to emulate Sandbox(which was damn near perfect). We should have actual PG/SG, etc to fill out the rosters. Any other way wouldn't be right.

I agree totally Pimp. However, we will wait it out.

DV, you guys are kinda far along in your draft. I would stop for now until more info is available.

I went ahead and emailed CBS too. It would probably be a good idea if the rest of the owners dropped them a line as well.

Bob, let's set a deadline where we have to continue the draft in case none of us hear back.

    ATTENTION OWNERS

I am calling for a vote on this:

Fadeaway would like to change his last pick. He drafted Karl Malone and would like to change that pick.

    Is that ok with everyone?

As Bob mentioned, I would like to change my second round pick. I originally wanted Paul Pierce but the reason I took Malone instead of was because I was concerned just like SSG was that CBS would classify Kobe and Paul as the same position. I'm still not sure this is the right decision since we still don't know how players will be classified, but I would like to change anyway.

Since my pick was the second-last one before the draft was halted, it won't matter too much. It's not like I want to give up a crappy player for a better one. My calculations actually have Malone rated higher by 3fp/game, but I would rather have Pierce because I get more televised Celtic games up here (get network feeds out of Boston) and I would like to cheer for the players I get to see, which isn't many. :)

If VOR decided that he wanted to change his Mourning pick because he had a change of heart regarding the F/C stipulation, I wouldn't see anything wrong with that.

There is still a lot of uncertainty revolving around the whole CBS situation, unfortunately. :(

I think it would be fair as long as we offered SSG the chance to take Karl Malone if he wanted, since he was directly after me, and the draft stopped after him.
