I can make my pick as soon as Pimp makes his so dont worry about me.

As to the hecklers out there that want to get on players nerves I would stay away from targeting players due to religion or race,I would think it would be an automatic ejection from the arena,at least I would think so.

I guess the center position could be eliminated, but wouldn't that confuse things even more? I think the center should stay, and if i knew there would be a "3 guard attack" I would have drafted a guard with my last pick.

And VOR did already take a chance on Mourning because of the C stipulation that was given to us before we started to draft.

No way, the center must stay.

    Agree Centre must Stay
although not sure about whether the forwards and guards need to be classified in to PF/SF and Sg/PG

What ever we need to decide NOW, cause it dictates everyone's (except Ren) drafting policy!!!!

    Bob,

the more i think about this the tougher the draft will be without knowing what position CBS is going to classify some players, especially centre/power forward types like Marc Jackson, J O'Neal, Wright and other mutli position players like G Hill or Carter or McGrady or M Miller, Magette.

Do y'all want to nullify this draft and restart when CBS gets its act together?

not sure we need to nullify
    just stop now
if they don't include centres then we probably have to go back to VOR pick at least, assuming the players everyone has drafted so far gets put in the position the drafter hopes they would be.

In short lets stop and wait, when cbs is updated we could get the draft done in 1 day, will still have plenty of time.

If cbs is real slow then maybe we could check yahoo out, i know you can set the rules scoring anyway you want

Nullify? No I'm happy with my draft so far. Isn't there an email address or forums where we could get in touch with some sort of administrator to answer all these questions (No, I haven't looked) The fact that we are able to designate some players as simply active is huge when drafting. Just assume that you will have to fill all five positions and draft intelligently. So far I am happy with how the draft is going and would be angry if we restarted.

    Song,

great in principle, but for example what if i draft Jermaine O'Neal assuming he going to be my centre and then he gets listed at PF (from what you he will playing PF this year) or Grant Hill, the sporting news has him listed at SG.

If we have to fill every spot in a starting line-up then we must know what position they are classified by CBS

    PAUSE the draft please.

    We will not nullify.

SSG, I have emailed and never got an answer. You can go to the forums page from our league home page. There are many many angry people posting in the forum who are not recieving answers.

Personally, I don't want to stop the draft.

    here's an idea -

Finn changes the roster starting requirements to

    2G 2F 1F/C

Finn can post which pfs he would consider as centers(oneal, sheed, ben wallace, Dale Davis, whoever).

and even though we could start a F at that last requirement, we use good faith(i dont think no one here is a cheat) and start only a center or a pf considered as a center.

    OR

    2G 1F 2F/C

count only the centers that were actually centers last year in sandbox(weren't that many good ones, so it wouldn't be hard to remember) and if you pick a pf who is listed as a center, then big deal, you can still start him.

That is really the only dilema to me. I think its pretty easy to figure out who the pgs and sgs are, as well as the sfs and pfs are.

I wonder if I make any sense at all.

btw bobo, I turned off my sarcastameter today.

and could you designate one spot as a F/C? That's kinda what my theory depends upon.

    o yeah, this blows :p

Because if we wait till the end, we have to try and cram this whole draft into 1 week or so. The problem is twofold :

    1) Sportsline's site won't update, so we don't know who is a SG, SF, PF, C, etc., so we'd rather wait until it is updated.

    2) If we wait until they update the site, it may only give us 1 week to do this whole thing and who knows if even that is enough time.
