Am I the only one that thinks Jordan was picked too high? Potential is one thing, but with more emphasive on rebounds and assists and steals, I just think there are better fantasy scorers than Jordan. Plus the injury factor is a real possibility.
I made up my mind that I was not going to pick Jordan in this draft, no matter what. I'm glad he was picked so high. That just means a better player will fall back to me. Jordan might be solid; I would say 21 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 1.5 stl (2nd-3rd round numbers). But yeah, I think DoD took him too soon. You never know, though, it is Jordan after all.
Well I was hoping 1 out of three players would fall to my 2nd pick,so far 2 have been picked Walker and Francis. I think a few players have been taken a little too early but they are still really good players so they really arent bad picks. BTW,There are still two players I would have got instead of Francis and I wasent considering Jordan until my 3rd pick probably 4th which I dont think he would have been, but having back to backs makes it a little different,I guess,Im just keeping my eye on one particular guy then I hope to get Francis after the draft. Like a deal involving Francis and McGrady or 2 picks for Steve!?!
hey, I have a question before I pick - do you need a sg on your team, or can you just load up on pgs instead? cause Finn said you need 2 guards to start, but didn't really make a distinction between the 2 guard spots. Likewise with the 2 forward spots.
Has anyone played the CBS version before? I'm really not sure how it breaks down. If you only have to have 2 guards and 2 forwards(with no distiction), I'm kind of disappointed. I really liked the breakdown Sandbox had.
I was told it was 2 G, 2 F, and 1 C and I agree with ya Crisco, Sandbox's was better. It required more strategy and planning to draft and input starting lineups.

I am in the dark as much as you guys (and getting very impatient with CBS). I have no clue how they will run this. They have not responded to any emails or posts in the forum. I will make the rules as far as drafting players. Each owner must draft 1 player at each starting position (C, PF, SF, SG, PG) As long as you draft 1 player for each starting position, the rest of your picks can be any position. If CBS doesn't shape up, we will ship out.
not feeling good about my choices. Stackhouse because poor shootin performance can only take 1 pt away under these ruled and the pistons still suck
We have to draft one player at each starting position???? I thought there was no distinction between different forwards and different guards. I was under the impression that you could just load up on Small Forwards and Point Guards if you wanted, and not even bother with PFs & SGs. Also, how do we know exactly which position these players are? Guys like Lamar Odom or Jalen Rose could be classified as either SF or SG or even PG depending on who you ask. The master lists at CBS just classify them as "F" or "G".
I think we should go with the way CBS divides them....G, F, and C. That being said, if they (CBS) says we got to have 5 positions, you'd be screwed if you don't pick all five. Also, I don't see how anyone could not pick at least one player for all five. If you try to load up on PGs, you'd be overlooking some good players at SG.
Ordinarily, I would have no problem with having to fill the 5 different positions. However, there is no easy way to know exactly who CBS classifies as SG and who CBS classifies as SF, etc.. Sandbox had nice, beautiful ordered lists. CBS has diddly-squat.
