this draft format is the reason everyone says live drafts take so long and drag on and on Lets book in a date a week or so down the track to knock it off and in between let things travel along at a snails pace with just the normal level of heckling!
Isn't that what we are doing now? As for me, I'm trapped here in this control room all night. What else do I have to do? Work? LMAO!!! Yeah, right!
Hey Bob, a question: While reading the analysis of Carter from The Sporting News, they say he will be listed as a guard on most fantasy leagues, while last year he was a forward. Will we get a choice? What if he is drafted to fill a guard spot, and the CBS league say he is a forward? That applies to others as well, such as Marc Jackson, Tracy McGrady, and that dude Washington picked up....the old one....what's his name?
Good question Behad. I don't have an answer. Until cbs officially starts their fantasy basketball, with their rankings and all, we won't know. Just use the old "Best athlete on the board" approach when drafting.
With the seventh pick, I will take Kobe Bryant. I hate the guy, but he's a damn good ball player. With Shaq hurt to start the season, he should be even more valuable. I didn't expect him to fall to me at #7.
NBA.com now has some fantasy info up as well as team previews. http://www.nba.com/preview2001/?nav=SiteFragment
its a must do, i had to pick up a center as we all remember how important they were last year. and since this game is so positional the centers are such a weak link he better be ready to play
