    Srsly... when you're next to the end, hang around and pick again. Cat's been on the board all day. We're waiting on you! I wouldn't give you grief if you weren't saying "send a list" to everyone else. Do as I say, not as I do?

    Ok, I'm not holding up the board as some people who take up the whole 12 hour limit. I pick Antawn Jamison.

    I say send a list to me because I would like to keep this draft moving. I guess I'll stop and wait 2 weeks til' my next pick the way this is going.

    The point was you just picked and were up again immediately after The Cat. Complaining about lists and then not being around to make your pick right away or providing a list of 2-3 players so someone could pick for you is lame.

    I don't expect anyone to put together a list of players if their pick isn't coming up soon (ie. 1-6 picks), however when you guys at both ends of the draft make a pick and will be up again if the guy behind you picks, then yes you should send someone a short list if you are going to be away. Asking guys that are 7-12 picks away to send a list is not necessary (but appreciated) unless they are going to be away for an extended period of time.

    As it stands we are right at the same pick after 3 days as we were last year and by the time we are done tonight, we will be ahead of that schedule. Next year I think I'm going to put a disclaimer that if you don't like slow-live drafts, don't sign up. We do this s**t every year and it's always the same story.

    No reason for that, because whether it is baseball, football or basketball in these leagues it is always the same.............the complaints and whining never change and are a part of the tradition. It's part of what makes this league.........

    I think in some sick way, everybody kinda likes it and keeps them coming back for more.................

    Always will hear some version of the following:

    What they are talking about, is if your pick is 3 or 4 away and you will be away from the computer for awhile, to make your pick.......send a list of 3-5 players they can pick from (ranking them) for that next pick, but not to send your full list. (You can send them to anyone, that is usually around, even someone who may pick after you)

    If you will be away for a long while, you can send a longer list with instructions..............pick a forward then guard.............

    It is just a way to speed things up and avoid any long lulls, because that is not fair for others after you who keep checking for their turn, not wanting to be the one slowing things down. Just a courtesy thing and to help keep the draft moving.......

    Anyone know where I can pick up "Hooked on Phonics", my grammar stinks.........oh well, hopefully you get the idea or someone else can translate for me...............

    I was watching this BBS and the draft site all weekend to make my picks. Why do I have to be rushed if I'm at the end? I'm going to take my sweet time like the others have for this draft for my picks. Plus, my last 2 picks, it only took 2 hours.

    And the lists, I was volunteering to move this draft along, but screw that. Just going to worry about me and my pick.

    Thank God for Yahoo drafts....2 hours and the draft is done.

    Dude, loosen the panties. In your case that it was only an hour or two, I don't care because it's no big deal. I was just giving you grief for getting on the guys 12 picks away from you when you posted when you weren't practicing what you were preaching when your pick was just 2 away and we had to wait on you. You knew what you were getting into so get over it.
