Not exactly sure what part of town you live in, but I can tell you I would love to be making a "paltry" 1.8M/over the next 3 years.

    Match the offer.

    Its a no brainer, IMO.

I understand about the LT but we have tell Mid Season to find somone to dump one/two of our players on so we can get under.

Welcome back Mr. Tooth (or at least I hope)

If it is below Scola's contract, sure, match it. If it is above it, then bye bye.

Match it and trade Head for a 1st rounder and money. Lots of crappy teams that don't draft well would love to get a guy that will be guaranteed to perform well in the regular season and shoot well.

i thought Feigan wrote that the rockets offer was 5.4 million over 2 years
which would mean 2.7 million a season compared to 3 million. Hardly any difference at all in that aspect. And considering that the third year is a team option the contract its more like 6 million

i dont think Morey was going to offer more than 2 years since at that point the Rockets would have owned his bird rights (i believe)

So yes Baker did get landry more money, but in NBA terms he really didnt do much for his client. if he got like 12 million for 3 years than we could be saying he did

You can't even pop bottles for 3 million.

How's Carl going to buy some subway for someone with that kind of money?

Nope, $5.4 over three years: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/6021605.html

Which makes the difference $1.2M per year, or a 67% increase.

If not, Morey will convince Michael Jordan to come of retirement for a third time, and do a sign-and-trade with Charlotte.

That wouldn't work because everyone knows Jordan would have a no-trade clause in his contract

LOL, Morey is a genius tho. Who knows?
