Sura is helping the team out a lot, Barrett looks like that energy guy we've been looking for. Let him keep on shooting and gaine some confidence and momentum. Please JVG!! Don't sit him for the next 3 games.

Now the PF situation is another story. We need to make a deal very soon. MoT and Howard looked pathetic out there.

Its not Howard's lack of heart. Its his lack of quickness, athleticism, playmaking abiliity and shot selection.

I'll tell you the problem about most Rockets fans. They always want some big name or all star at every position. They like the 'BIG NAME", this tradition has started when Robert Horry was criticized for not be a great ball handler and inconsistent offensive player. We all know he's not as good as Pippen as a ballhandler, but he was a MUCH BETTER team player.

People this year were excited about JUWAN. A big name player. All name no game. I'd take Cato back or Kenny Thomas or an old Robert Horry back anyday. TEAM PLAYERS.

If we cant get any production out of our PFs then I say bench them both. We can do what RUDY is doing with the Lakers and start Lamar Odom (a SF) as PF. We can start 3 Gs 1 F and 1 C.

I think this is a good idea, I'm willing to try almost anything now. Of course that would mean who.....JJ at the 4? If we were in the east maybe there would be a chance, but I don't see how this could happen. One way or another one of these players is going to start at PF:

    Mo
    Howard
    Spoon
    Padgett

Who are our SF's? JJ, TMac, Boki, Bowen? Which of them can you see starting as our PF? If we had someone long like Odom then yes it's a possibility, but I just don't see it happening.

if you look at the rumor mill. There's nothing about teams wanting Mo Taylor or Juwan.

this reminds of Isiah trying to trade Moochie and Shandon Anderson.
Finally giving up, he just waived Shandon and bought out his huge contract.

hey - I love Odem... but he's not a Rocket

and we don't have any 6'11" Small Forwards

that is the whole problem. Odem, Dirk, Garnett - we can't match up with these guys because they have smalll forward moves in a power forward's body

No, but we have a young 6-10 small forward named Bostjan Nachbar. Why didn't JVG try Boki on Dirk? Boki could have fouled him just as hard (harder, actually) as the ones laid on him by the squad that played. The same goes for the 7-2 Mutombo.

That's what I was thinking. I'm at a loss to explain JVG's "rotation," whatever the heck it is. Nachbar got one minute. That's it. He might have been able to slow down Dirk a little, until he fouled out.

(thumbs, sorry I couldn't make the "thing." Something came up at the last minute. I need to shoot you an e-mail.)

T-Mac kicked the ball over to an open Sura because he was facing a double team a couple of feet out from the 3 point line. I have no problem with that.
