No one is out attacking countries half-way around the world in the name of Hinduism. (I'm not justifying discrimination against Muslims, just explaining it.)

When did Rush or Hannity play the "Muslim card" on Obama? They've bashed him repeatedly over many things, but the only time they've mentioned Obama and religion is Reverend Wright and that's a judgment issue, not a religious one.

Other than all over India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh - yes this isn't happening at all.

in january, dick morris was on the show and insisted wholeheartedly such an idea, with no "fair and balanced" correction from hannity. colmes tried to counter, but hannity cut him off several times saying, "it's the clintons that did it, the clintons..." blah blah. shortly after, hannity's website had "Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?" as it's headline. hannity has tried to tie obama to farrakhan several times despite the public distancing obama has done. i really wonder if this lapel pin crap is a euphemism for "he's not from here" or "he's a closet terrorist, he's no patriot". hannity even lets coulter get away with calling him B. Hussein Obama without checking her. and not like it's just hannity. fox and friends went berserk on it.

can't play dumb - you know and they know exactly what they'd like to say, and what images they are trying to relay to those who can't think for themselves to be offended, misled, and preyed upon. it's vicious and predatory, in my opinion, and does less for intelligent debate.

Wrong. They talked and pushed a false story that he went to a Muslim madrassa in Indonesia as a child. Both have pushed the story. Why would they push a false story if they weren't playing the Muslim card?

RUSH: Hey, folks, you want to tweak the Drive-By Media with me right now? Want to participate in tweaking the Drive-By Media? You are aware, probably, that Barack Obama lost his bearings recently and said that he was going to campaign in all 57 states. You heard this? And everybody chalked it up to, "Well, he's tired." You know, this is a Dan Quayle moment. I mean, Dan Quayle goes out there and misspells potato, and we still get jokes about it. Barack Obama says he's gonna go out and campaign in 57 states, he was just tired, you know, it's been such a long campaign, he's been so many places, he probably thinks there are 57 states. Well, I have here a printout from a website called the International Humanist and Ethical Union. And here is how the second paragraph of an article on that website begins. "Every year from 1999 to 2005 the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states presented a resolution to the United Nations commission on human rights called combating --" yes, H.R., get ready for the phone calls up there.

We're participating here in a tweak of the media. Obama said he's going to campaign in 57 states, and it turns out that there are 57 Islamic states. There are 57 Islamic states. "Every year from 1999 to 2005, the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states," this is from the International Humanist and Ethical Union. And the title of the piece here is, "How the Islamic states dominate the UN human rights council," and there are 57 of them. So did Obama just lose his bearings, or was this a more telling slip, ladies and gentlemen? Obama's 57 states, not just a simple gaffe. He might have been thinking of the 57 Islamic states when he said he was going to campaign in all 57 states. (laughing) Can't wait 'til the Drive-Bys hear about this.

The link to Farrakhan that I've heard Hannity harping on is that Obama was at the Million Man March. Again, it's a judgment issue. Why is he associating himself with Farrakhan? Just like why is he friends with William Ayers and why is Rev. Wright his "spiritual advisor"?

No way Jindal gets the spot. Whether McCain or any other republican will admit it or not, they are hoping for a large portion of voters to choose him because of Obama's race and the "Muslim" connection. They would not risk losing that bloc by appointing a man who those very same people would not vote for.

Furthermore, why is he hanging out with a million black men? One of those million might have been a terrorist sympathizer!

Obama should be like every good american and only associate with those that are 100% (NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!111) in agreement with his own views. Just like count_dough-ku, who hangs out in his mom's basement by himself so as to not be "infected" with attitudes and ideas he does not agree with.

While we're at it, let's just get rid of that pesky 1st amendment completely - just having that thing around is asking for "alternative" ideas. The horror!!!

The Punjabi community does not accept Bobby Jindal as one of their own. He's a traitor to his own people, a disgrace to his race.

Hell, Charlton Heston marched with MLK.

People decrying Obama for his "associations" are just plain silly and stupid.

Why do so many people here assume he's muslim? He's Indian, which by the way is predominantly Hindu not muslim. He was raised Hindu and is a born again Christian. Last time I checked having a history of being a Hindu and a current status of being Christian doesn't make you muslim just because you're Indian...
