I'm sure it's not impossible he'd be traded... for something Sactown actually wants, and outside of T-Mac and Yao the Rockets have NOTHING the Kings want.

The Kings' starting lineup is still 100% veteran players. They are NOT rebuilding, and they already trimmed $8 million dollars off their cap from Vlade's contract ending and signing a cheaper Ostertag instead. If they still think they're contenders, which they are, why would they give up one of their biggest contributors for cap space? They woudn't mind making some cap-saavy moves, but there's no chance they just give away talent.

They have a self-imposed salary cap limit of 60M.

They have to be at that number. The Maloof brothers said a MAXIMUM MAXIMUM of 62M if it was WELL worth it.

How badly do they need Bobby Jaxx now that Shaq's gone? They can beat everyone else without him, they proved that last year. Webber will play more than last year.

Personally, I don't think they'll do much without Divan and Bobby Jaxx - but they seem to think otherwise and we should take advantage of that.

Who would still probably cost the Rockets a 1st Rounder, even if he were available.

Bobby Jackson would be nice here in Houston. I could live with Lue and Bobby Jackson at the point.

Bobby J is IMO a great fit here! I don't see Sac taking any of our overpaid PFs, maybe Howard to reunite the Fab Fives?...I would definitely do the TE + 1st rounder but I doubt they take that as well since they really are not that deep anymore.

How about Jimmy J for Bobby J? I would definitely do this! Bobby's contract expires next year but Jimmy's a year after. But we need Bobby this year more, we can have more $ next summer for the FA market if we can't resign him. He is a great defender with good size and scoring ability. I don't see the Rockets as a team that needs a true PG since all we will do is dump it down to Yao (did the Lakers or the old Rockets w/Dream?). What we do need is a 3rd scoring option and Bobby would be great for that...for those of you who think Yao and Tmac is enough, remember the Lakers always looked for that 3rd scoring option? They tried Isaiah Rider and Glen Rice...we also need a 3rd scoring option, which could be Howard I guess but I think a 3rd option that can drop treys is a plus, so Bobby fits perfectly.

I'm okay with that. He's 2 yrs younger, and the same type of player.

when healthy, bobby jackson is a top 5 point guard. he'd be well worth the risk for the rockets.

For our situation,I would prefer Daniels over Jackson, but it's almost to the point of splitting hairs.
They both are excellent defensive players, but I like the fact that Daniels can shoot the trey.As good an athlete as Bobby Jackson is,whoever said Antonio is a freak, was right. That athleticism combined with his size, and skill level has always lead me to wonder why Daniels hasn't lived up to billing before this.Maybe he was in the wrong system, but he sure has bumped around for someone picked so high.I know of no injuries that have set him back.If we trade for him,and he scratches the surface of his potential we really have a steal. That being said,I believe the Rockets may not need a conventional point guard, but the hybrid 1/2 that can lock down guys,ergo.Daniels.I've said it before..He really reminds me of Mad Max.Don't get me wrong,I love Bobby's game.If we don't get Daniels, give me Jackson or Mcinnis.
    ..and,sorry for the digression.
