Nice to see Bobby play well, fit in seemlessly, give us another PG for the playoffs. Brooks is gonna be alright, BJ can help school Aaron for the future.

It's all good. We are playing like a team.

Can't wait to see the team chemistry in April. And Scola, Landry and Brooks should all be improved.

Rafer will not be burned out by playing too many minutes.

I am impressed by Adelman & staff. I really feel like these coaches have helped improve the fundamentals of a number of our players. I was confident that RA would get this team moving forward by January, and it happened!!

according to NBA.com box score, BJAX had a +/- of +21!

(best of the game, btw- rafer had a +3)

I was calling Les out for being cheap trading Bonzi to dump MJ contract but I guess I was completely wrong. Its only one game but Morey never cease to amaze me.

With this guy at the GM, Houston will have a great future. No more bad trades or bad draft picks.

that was the point of the trade. to dump that freaking contract, maybe go after barry with that money.

getting an experienced guard who stones who knows RA's system was gravy. a calculated bonus to be sure (Morey is always thinking) but it certainly was NOT a bobby jackson for bonzi equal trade

Agreed. From what I've seen, Rafer plays his best when he starts, and Bobby plays his best off the bench. No reason to change it up.

I wasn't surprised Bobby Jackson can play like this. I think he should start over Rafer. He just fair better in everything that is Rafer. Did you see Bobby attack the hoop that EASILY?? Rafer can't do that!! Bobby has the poise and control when he attack where as Rafer is erratic...also I think Rafer makes bad decision in terms of passing. Bobby's defense is superior to Rafer. If Rick Adelman wants Bobby to come off the bench to bring a spark, then it's cool since the bench is thin but i think if the Rockets get Brent Barry, then they have a deep bench so they should start Bobby over Rafer.

I do not like Rafer when it comes to attacking the hoop and making passing decision. The Rockets can be a lot more dangerous with someone like Bobby that can attack the hoop.

Also did you guys notice how smooth the offense is when Bobby is in there?? Man, the way he passes the ball and just know what to do in the offense without hesitation makes the game easier to watch.

He gave us an incredible game - now let's hope he can stay healthy and help the Rockets the rest of the year as well!

Bobby can control the rhythm of the game really great. And he can hit 3s, so we can let him play a little more in case Rafer loses his touch.

No way Bobby replaces Rafer as starter. Both do what they do well enough. Jackson will be most productive of the bench because teams will forget about him when he's subbed in. We don't want him having to go after the big PG's of the west. I'm pretty sure he'd get a lot crappier real fast if that happened.

I'm sorry for doubting you, Bobby. You obviously have more game left than I thought.

Bobby Jackson = Bobby Sura anyone?

both are tough and gritty with similar playing styles, except BJax is better offensively. i predict he'll be a fan favorite.

also, jackson looked more impressive in one game than francis has looked in all of his games this season. :D

One of the first things Bobby Jackson said at his press conference was "I'm gonna what I do best and attack the basket"....music to my ears.

He then showed what he could do tonight.

starting bjax over rafer would be a huge mistage. if you havent noticed rafer has been getting mad assists for a while now and a change would not be a good one for the ROX right now. bjax is a scorer more than rafer.

Just 1 game, so lets not get too wild...yet.

I liked how he performed this first game. Good energy. And seemed to bring some inherit toughness. I really liked that he spelled Alston with no drop-off. Alston only played 30 min tonight - not his normal 40+. That means he'll be fresher throughout the game and will make better decisions and hit his shots. Our team just gets better and better.

    Let's go for big 13; and 14; and 15; and 16....

More importantly, we FINALLY got help at the PG. Rafer isn't bad, but he has no business playing 40 mins. Rafer keeps the ship steady to start, and BJax gives the Rox a boost off the bench, with no drop off at the point. Ah, how sweet it is.
