His friendship with CP3 proved to be invaluable in getting him here to Houston. He will hopefully be a better player for us this year in limited minutes.
Unless Llull is coming to be our ultimate backup point, I don't mind Bobby getting a shot to fill that backup role.
Can someone please explain to me the real story behind how this guy got his stint here and why we keep resigning him? He went undrafted in 2007 and started over seas for a year then bounced around 4 NBA teams in 2 years (Sacramento, Minnesota, New Orleans and LAC) then bounced out of the league and played for 6 teams in 6 years overseas before landing a spot with us. He's been playing ball for 10 years and is 32 years old so he's not a young prospect we are looking to develop he has tops just a handful of playing years left and that's coming deep off the bench. Are we REALLY just paying this guy to keep Harden happy? If so, what is this guys relationship with Harden? High School friends? Anyone have the inside scoop of behind the scenes conversations between Harden and Rockets management over the situation? Does this guy have good connections with other NBA players? If so, who? How? OR Does Morey just see this guy as cheap bench fodder who steps on the court in garbage time and actually drops buckets in? Maybe his view is, hey he's cheap and I need a 14th, 15th man anyway. I know everyone makes jokes about him being a tagalong I just want to know what's really going down.
Man I hate Bobby Brown groupie self. He sucks. Just like Dekker. . He is only on the team because he has good connections with the MVP.
