I honestly do not think anything he does would turn off the true maga fan, my gosh, the list is so long and boggles my mind that they still follow him. I go back to relatability, people can relate to not being perfect, to being persecuted, having "the man" keep them down and they are his ride or die..........he can commit any crime, and his fans will just say it's the libs trying to get their guy and they won't stand for it...........it's sad and at the same time simply remarkable that folks would support him after everything we all know about him
A big portion of his electorate are the evangelicals. People wonder how people who belong to a faith whose root word is "Christ" could call themselves Christians by following such a p.o.s. They want a fundamentalist "Christian" theocracy to rule, and to get it, they are absolutely blind to what he is or willing to rationalize anything he says or does. Then you have the utterly venal who have something to gain. Throw in toxic masculinity, the ones who root for the perpetrators when they watch "Dateline." Not to mention Trump's Jedi mind tricks. And a complacent corporate media that barely reports on Trump's brain-glitches, and there are many, and treats him as if normal. What if Biden had said, "They're eating the cats, they're eating the dogs"?
I think that's what gets me so irritated about the so called "Evangelicals", its hypocrisy to back a man who has so many UNCHRISTIAN values, a maga associate told me, hey, I am not voting for our pastor, I`m voting to keep us safe. That is some twisted logic IMO, I especially love when they all get around him and pray for him.......dude doesn't have a Christian bone in his body yet we have so called leaders of churches praising him, I call that fake Christianity
The MAGA faithful is what it is. I’m more concerned with the voters who feel that because groceries cost more or that there are too many immigrants are willing to overlook all that. Particularly given that Trump has no plans to reduce inflation and likely will increase it.
