Well, I'm sure he didn't embarrass himself so JuanValdez or Live could know who he is. In other words, I listen and read a lot of Bob Ryan, and to suggest he is some shock columnist trying to get attention is just wrong. He made a mistake, but I'm sure he didn't say those comments to get his name in the lime light.
No, he does other things to bring attention to himself. I've seen Ryan's act before on ESPN. He has a habit of over-blowing topics, he's a more intense version of Kornheiser (sp?). It was just a matter of time before he put his foot in his mouth, similar to any and all overly-opinionated journalists. It never fails.
Ryan was blowing off hot steam but for what purpose? The funny thing is that although TJ is a cute kid, I personally am not focusing my attention on him. Joumana Kidd is without a doubt is a foxy lady. No, fault to Ryan but, Joumana doesn't need TJ to get attention. As for TJ, that kid much have the largest head ever. Goes to show you that words do hurt. Ryan's wallet that is.
He's on ESPN's the Sportsreporters isn't he? He also makes appearances on one of the sports talk shows(PTI, Around the Horn...who knows). If you regularly watch ESPN, then you have seen Bob Ryan before...
We're talking about getting on TV. While Joumana may be hot, it takes more to get the TV producers to cut away from the players and put you on TV. So why not dress up your cute little kid to get some camera time?
I'll say this, I like Ryan's replacement on Around the Horn much better than Ryan. Ryan screams like a little baby way too much.
