Not sure about the Cowboys; Jerry jones said romo has 4-5 years left and the draft will reflect that and Stephen jones said they won't pass up a franchise qb for an impact player.

I think bills roll with Taylor for another year before they decide to give him a long term contract

Highly recommend you read the Dak article:

Camp might not be enough time to fully evaluate a college QB. The exception is Christian Hackenberg. Most college QB know how to do pre-snap reads, but will require time to learn OBie's (or in general any NFL team's) offense.

Then you have Savage as your safety net. He's had enough time to learn the system enough to beat out both rookies. If he loses out to a rookie, then we would have answered our questions about him and his future with the team. If the Texans don't get the top four QBs and get Prescott I would love to see Prescott vs Hogan vs Savage.

On a different note, I would love to see the Texans take a chance with Jaylon Smith maybe in the 3rd.

Has to be. The rest of the AFC South teams have QBs

It's [probably] the Jaguars. Jaguars coached him in the Senior Bowl.

Would you guys trade our 22nd pick & (next years 1st and 2nd) to Chargers for the 3rd pick ?

I don't think the Chargers would do that deal, but I would. That's a huge jump from 22 to 3 and I'd be all over it. I'd be happy at 3 with no matter what player of my top 3 I got. Even if they didn't get a QB, I would feel good about jumping up to 3 for any one of Tunsil, Bosa, Wentz, Goff or Buckner.

Not sure I do all of that for a DE or Tunsil but that's just me. I bet Tunsil goes at 1 anyway

Like I said, doesn't matter. Chargers aren't going to drop from 3 to 22 for that offer. That's the type of deal that gets you from 7 to 3.

Even from 7 to 3, you would need this year's first and second and either 2017 1st and 2018 1st or 2017 1st and 2017 2nd. It'd be devastating if their highest pick next year is a 3rd rounder, knowing how well they've done in that round. No thank you.

Here is a link to the generic draft value chart.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/draft/draft-trade-chart/

So on that chart the #3 pick is worth 2200 points.

    #22 is worth 780 points.

You would need to make up the difference of 1420 points. This year's first get's you right around 1/3 of the way to the value of the #3 pick.

Also, this counts only for the current year. There is a significant discount (not sure how much). For picks in future years. So Texans' first this year is 720. Next years is worth (random guess) 600. And the first for the year after that is less.

This is just the generic chart, every team has their own, but it should serve as a pretty decent rule of thumb for the cost of moving up. It gets really expensive really fast. And since teams know the Texans' need for a QB, they'd probably ask for a further premium on the price to do a deal.

I'm guessing the next the next 3 firsts and the next two 2nd rounders is the price range they'd be asking for that drastic a move, if they'd even consider it.

    Washington paid St. Louis 3 1sts and a 2nd to move from #6 to #2 for RG3.

He doesn't need to purposely tank when the team sucks as much as it does.

42-38 since 2011 with five playoff games, four winning records and three division championships "sucks"?

Man, it never ceases to amaze me how many fans don't seem to be fans at all...

Guess the Pats will hang out onto Jimmy G; according to Yahoo sports; they want a first rounder for him. Also it's not looking for Brady:
