Batman, You are right as I got the "Bob Dylan" album confused with "Self Portrait" but yea it was "Self Portrait" that I was talking about. Yea, I need to get some more Dylan stuff as I stopped at "Biograph" (the last Dylan CD that I have bought). Lately, all I have been getting is jazz (especially Miles) and now blues stuff (listening to Albert King right now). Thanks for the post - informative and useful as always.
True, but please keep in mind that the music business was completely different then than it is now. If Dylan was 21 years old today, trying to make it in the music business, he would more likely than not be passed on by the majors (due to his singing voice) and would wind up releasing something himself.
