Sometimes a story is just something fun and funny and worth sharing, instead of one grim blast of misery after another. In Britain, a new Arctic research ship is being built to replace a couple of aging ones, very serious scientific stuff. Something possessed the administrators of the project to open the naming of the vessel to the public through a contest. Currently, leading by about a 10-1 margin is 'Boaty McBoatface', which I personally think is the best name for an Arctic Research Vessel EVER. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-35861444 They all seem to be having fun with it, and probably they will get around having to name it something silly in the end, but it still gave me some chuckles. And then it got me to wondering - what if the Rockets opened up a competition to re-name the team in the wake of the current disaster of a season? Mister Misses ? The Re_ _Emons? The Matadors? I dunno, it just made me wonder. This season has been awfully grim, and it looks like it's going to get wayyy worse before it gets better.
