It was fun playing as the Chiefs and running Christian Okoye over everyone. He would just bowl over the whole defense. Barry Word was pretty good too. Otis Anderson from the Giants could do the same thing. That was fun, because you could also play LT on defense.

Wasn't Tecmo Super Bowl the first sports game to use real sports team names and logos?

your TSB must've been different than mine if INT's were commonplace. you can be all over a guy, double/triple coverage, and only intercept one in ten or so. unless you're playing a qb in bad condition, then it's easier. and returns are virtually non-existent as everyone who intercepts the ball seems to immediately become slow (same with fumbles though an occasional beast picks it up and rampages for the easy TD).

and weird you should mentioned ninja gaiden, i just got that out the other day and my friends and i got all the way to world 6 (6-2 is amazingly hard) and what we thought was the main guy. after finally beating him, it then took us to the real main guy who i think i got one bar of life off of before being killed. what sucks is the ****ing game takes you all the way back to the beginning of world 6 (instead of just to 6-3) after dying against the main guy. playing the whole world again for one shot at the main guy is a b**** and why we just stopped playing (after playing several times just to get to the 2nd to last guy). but i digress...

while montana almost always wins the ratings in a simulated season and is probably least likely to be intercepted, if you're playing man vs man, no one is better than qb eagles. if he's in good or excellent condition, forget it. if a single receiver is open, the D is royally screwed. it's either a free completion (b/c qb eagles can pass well) or a free first down running. you're only hope is to pick the play and even then it's quite easy to outrun the blitz. i did thoroughtly kick a friends ass when he had qb eagles one time, but that was b/c LT was playing better than i had ever seen in 17 years of playing the game (this was beyond excellent condition) and qb eagles was in bad condition.

how can Lott not be first? the best tackler of the secondary guys and amazingly fast. and how can darrell greene not even be on the list?
