Wise decision. Like I said, I got mine this past fall. It is a 2002 and was a demo model with abt 5500 miles on it. Sure, someone else got to sit in it first, but I got the 100K mile warranty, plus I missed the first year of depreciation. You can buy the new car smell at Target. If you are going to get the older body style, I would wait until the new model comes out so you can a little bit more of a discount. Can you wait until 2006? http://autos.yahoo.com/newcars/bmw_3series_330cicoupe_2004/12470/style_review_article.html?source=cg
Come on, folks. It's obvious what this article is reporting. BMW drivers are the most likely to lie. Period. Makes sense to me. They obviously had to lie to themselves before purchasing a car.
Does anyone want to start a pool counting the days before FD Khan's "Check Out My New BMW" thread is posted?
I have it on good authority that Jaguars are the leading car for men who like hand jobs from beutiful women they hardly know.
Good advice. My Accord should go over 100,000 miles in October of 2006. The plan originally was to wait til then to trade it in, anyway.
Not sure, I went to Germany a while back and I was impressed that most of the taxis in the town I was in were BMWs or Mercedes!
That's true, they are mostly Mercedes Diesel because they are very durable and have a high resale value .
I will have had the car five years in July. Based on the miles I've put on it over five years, I would say the estimate is pretty solid barring unforeseen circumstances.
You know, as I was driving my Corolla yesterday, I thought about this thread, and I have a question for you all. Shouldn't we be asking who gets the most bang for the buck?
Here would be my speculation: unmarried men are more likely to drive Porsches in a vain attempt to impress women and get some action. However, married men have to be a little more sensible in their car purchases and weigh more heavily toward the BMW. Being married, they have very little challenge in setting up a sexual liason, which pumps up their average.
I've also mentioned that my Acura Integra (which, at the time, was just an Accord with a different body) was the most reliable car I've ever had. It was still running great when I sold it even though I didn't really take care of it. I'm a big believer in the Honda (with the last two cars I bought, the runner-up was an Accord Coupe. I imagine if I had bought an Accord Coupe instead of the Audi, I'd still be driving it today and would've saved a considerable amount of money, time and effort.) I really want an S2000, though. It may not get me laid more often, but I imagine driving it all the time would be a fine consolation.
