The thing that bothered me the most about BB is their proce. Even with listeria that bull**** ice cream was 6.99. I was willing to die but you didn't care to give a discount
Agreed. They were $5.99 at a nearby Kroger. I'll wait until Thanksgiving or until there is a 2/$5.00 or 2/$6.00 special.
I would think that a scientician of your caliper would...would...I believe the verbiage is "drop more knowledge"
I've tried BB a few times just because of people raving here in the past. I just don't get it, and I really wanted to. Marginally different IMHO. I think each brand might have a few standout flavors, but I can't say one brand is overwhelmingly better than the rest.
For leveraging and exploiting Texas nationalism, yes, I agree with those. Somewhat. I have a Texan allegiance to Dr. Pepper. But, I wouldn't take a blow to Dr. Pepper as an affront to Texas the way people have with Blue Bell. I think they're perhaps too big. Love Shipley's. I associate it more with Houston than with Texas though. Maybe that still counts. But, would people in Brenham engage in a social media campaign to save Shipley's? Probably not. More of an embarrassment to the state than anything. I'd pay $5.99, but $6.99 is a little steep, considering.
Anyone have their supermarkets sell out of BB on 8/31? I don't get the fascination. Pre-listeria BB was always fully stocked at the market - almost like everyone bought non-BB ice cream. All of a sudden, it comes back and every flavor is sold out? :/
Blue Bell be like "we kill you fools with Listeria". People be like "we line up for your product like fools after you tried to kill us".
