It really bothers me that BB knew they had problems for years and didn't do anything about it. Not so much that they had a recall - that happens to companies from time to time - but apparently that they knew for so long before doing it. But I also love their ice cream. Still... I don't know. Not giving a **** if you make your customers sick is pretty disgusting.
Blue Bell is a special brand and the Texas public will forgive them one time. If it happens again, everyone will turn on them and they are dead.
Where's my Homemade Vanilla? Is it out yet? And those little ice cream sandwiches. Any of those around? I forgive you, Blue Bell. Just give me the goods.
I agree. I loved their ice cream but they freaking killed people and knew about the problem for years. Then they lied to all their employees about not having layoffs. Just dirtbag management IMO.
I don't know about that. They are consistently the lowest priced ice cream and the best tasting on the shelves. They could send out ice cream hitmen to kill me and I'd still buy their products. At the end of the day we're all customers more than moral activists. Give us a good enough product and most people will turn a blind eye to shady BS.
this. i was sympathetic till i heard that. now i don't think i will eat it anymore. also, i want to know if anyone even lost their job over this. i have been a life-long blue bell eater, but since it has been off the shelf i have discovered how much better ice cream that uses real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup is. i only ate blue bell so i did not know any better...it costs a little more, but you can really taste the difference.
I will call out your " I can shoot the eye out of a squirrel at 200 yards with open sights" bull **** every time you say it just like everyone else who lies their ass off.
Nothing tastes better than getting grabbing a piece of Hawaiian bread(the loaf) and shoving some Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla in there. Best icecream sandwich ever.
