Haha...for sure, although I can't really blame him trying to upgrade his weakest position. Blake is no starter in the league. Oh well, sometimes a move can make sense but the player is just a bad fit (See: Artest + Rockets).

You know who can use an Andre Miller?

The Rockets, if they have to trade Brooks (or Lowry) with McGrady to get something of value (and not a PG) back.

    Brooks for a 33 year old PG who can't shoot a 3?

I expect so much more from you Carl.

The Blazers could certainly use a Dalembert, and we could use an Andre Miller, especially if we had to send Philly boy Lowry with Tmac to get Iggy. Pair up Andre and Iggy again, two guys who took it to us when they played together last year.

    But not for Brooks.

    And I digress.

No... not Brooks. Something more like Brooks + McGrady for, say, Kevin Martin + Nocioni. Then swap Nocinoi for Miller. (Yes, this will force the Rockets into tax territory, too... but not nearly to the scale of a Dalembert deal would).

And Miller is more useful than Dalembert.

I see what your saying but his contract would handicap the team and IMO his decline is becoming more obvious by the day. Brooks is considerably better this year and considering their contracts Lowry could be argued that he is superior too. If the rox went this route we better be getting a Superstar, anything less would be a bad move IMHO.

Roy would be so good in this offense.. It's too bad we couldn't have had one pick higher.

Andre Miller is a stud, He has been playing fantastic of late.

I'm not so sure that Andre should take all the heat for this. Nate has been playing games with him all season...

I never thought he was a good signing for them, doesn't seem to fit their style of play. But what do I know? (answer not required)

I think there is a growing sentiment against McMillan amongst the players which is causing players to question him and speak out. It sucks, I like McMillan.

I was hoping it would be Roy complaining that he wanted to be drafted to Houston instead of the Blazers.

IN before someone turns this into a way to get Rudy Fernandez.

The Artest trade hurt the Rockets in the long run. Morey should have never traded Batum to Portland. Now, the Rockets are stuck with Ariza.

Who thinks Ariza (and maybe Dorsey) for Miller is a good trade? He won't fit in with Yao, but he would fit in nicely next to Brooks this season. Brooks would play off the ball, and defend the point.

    Hayes/Andersen
    Scola/Landry
    Battier/Buddinger
    Brooks/Taylor
    Miller/Lowry

So, instead of Ariza, Batum, who is out for the year, would be more productive?

The Rockets aren't winning anything this season.

I would trade Ariza for Outlaw...

Outlaw is about the same age, but much more talented on offense... Ariza for Rudy+Outlaw...:)

Throw Dorsey, and a first rounder in if that's what it takes.
