it used to make me happy to watch Harden go at it in the regular season, and I kept telling myself he'd be great in the playoffs... I can't even have that delusion for this season any longer. Just can't see him as the core right now.
You know it's bad when people have to dig deep into Harden's past on a whole different team and role to defend him.
This isn't realistic and it will never happen. We must try to be realistic as possible. Trading Dwight and Ariza and going through a semi rebuild the same as Portland by retaining our..."star" is realistic and possible. We can trade Ariza to many teams and receive a lot of young high potential players. Dwight has a more limited market but in the right situation he too can bring smth good back. The main targets should be Chicago and Boston. And if we are ready to forget Durant which should be a pipedream anyway, then okc as well. Ariza for Payne and McGarry. Dwight for Portis and Taj Gibson. Trades like that.
I know it's not realistic, unless Les goes berzerk. Still think not trading him will doom this franchise, makes me a sad Yung-T.
Harden could be traded if he can't tolerate a rebuild and since he will have two more years in his contract it will be a possibillity.
We are getting absolutely nothing from our role players this year, just absolutely nothing. Outside of Harden, and then maybe Capella and Motiejunas, I wouldn't be sad to see anyone go.
Nah lol. I tweeted way back in March about him making a stupid pass when he played for the Clips and he got pissed off about it at the time. Then waits 10 months and tweets that to me when the Rockets are struggling. I've had zero interaction with him outside of him getting mad about that tweet, so I know he's just being a jerk. Started to ask who he plays for now, but thought that might be a low blow.
wow what a loser keeping a grudge like that for 10 months. The fact that he even remembered to answer you this after so long speaks of how loser he is. Don't pay him more attention.
That's how the biggest lovestories begin, go for it. *It would really brighten up the mood of us sad CFers.*
And I didn't even tweet him directly back then... I was just tweeting in general during games like I usually do, so he had to have searched his name to even find it. But yeah, it's like did you write my name down just in case you ever had the opportunity to troll me down the line? Petty. LOL.
My hope all along is we get a better owner and not moving to another city..... That may be mutually exclusive but yup Les is always good for regular season and couple of playoff rounds (without Hakeem) The owner has to accept going deep into the drafts, no matter what. He is rich enough, he should stop worrying about selling tickets and filling seats. The future is at stake.
This team has a lot of talent but the pieces just don't fit .... Just too many flaws & mismatched parts. None of these guys compliment each other .....
