I was really comparing movements in visual art to that of music. Manny was comparing based it on contemporary being weaker classical. But I disagree with that. To me it's all about innovation (and I do have a bad-ass art degree from SFA so look out buddy... ) And if we are talking about things with PUNK in it's title, it's definitely about the attitude the fuels the creativity. You might think that it's all hippie sounding, but you throw on some old Bad Brains or Big Boys, and it's the pop-punk that is p*ssy sh*t. Sorry chance, I know you love pop-punk. But after listening to the real stuff for twenty years, I find it weak. Ain't nothing like the real thing baby...
Actually I think I am just into the "pop" portion of pop punk more. Hey we both have BA's from SFA that are priceless!
