    Well, there's your problem.

How many coaches actually use it as their primary system?

I remember those pre-game interviews with thibodeau as a rocket coach asst. He was always sweating his ass off in interviews, getting his hands dirty from actually practicing with the players. He is very discipline JVG-like without the stupid love for washed up veterans or meat gagging players (like Rick). Best of both worlds without their weakness.

Amen! Les is being a goofus. He should have offered Adelman an extension long ago.

Its funny how there is no word from Morey or Les about Analman. They always let the media know who they want back. Last season it was Scola and Lowry, this season its Hayes. They made it clear in the media that they were planning to re-sign them.

Yet no word on Aldeman. Ha Ha. I hope I am reading the signs correctly.

He can go to Toronto and work with Bargnani and co. His type of player - big softy who specialises in shooting and nothing else.

I hope Rick's offense stays, even if Les the dumbass let's RA go. Seriously this team is build for motion offense, we will be nothing without it, unless we through a major roster haul and bring in a lot more pieces this summer.

as brock lesnar would say, making chicken salad outta chicken shet

There's a very small part of me that wants to see no changes made to this team other than the coach. Then, when a new, young and hungry coach comes in here and wins 48+ games with this exact squad people won't be able to pretend Adelman is still a top coach in this league.

Check his coaching lately and stop walking down memory lane. He isn't that great of a coach and is downright at playing the best players. Luckily, we have Morey to keep taking away his favorite toys from him so the team stays competitive.

What does a "young" or inexperienced coach have anything to with rebuilding with young players? It sounds more of a case of the blind leading the blind, eg T-Wolves.

Teams with no all-stars and 6'6" centers are making the playoffs right and left. All you need is a coach that's young and hungry. I think I'm beginning to see the rationale.

Exactly. We should not be a 30 win team with this roster. We should not be beating teams like the spurs, celtics and taking the mavs to OT.

This Rockets team plays closer to the Sun's system than Princeton. Anyway, if Adelman got a go to guy or a guy who can pnr all day and we'd see that instead.

The one thing I don't like about defensive coaches, going to Jvg, to Larry Brown, is that they don't do a good job of developing young players.

living in Chicago... I can tell you what a difference a good coach makes to a team. Two 41 win season to 60+ with coach tibs... Mind you that 2 of the starting five were injured for the season.

If RA was with the Heat... just think what their record would be this year.... The Rockets need class 1A talent and nothing else... we have enough of a supporting cast.

Apparently, the Spurs encourage the playing of young players in their defensive system.

Popovich->Duncan, Parker, George Hill, DeJuan Blair.

    Elston Turner... :)
Mario Elie, Assistant coach with the Kings, they still "try" to run elements of a Princeton.

That is not remotely close to true. Adelman's Princeton offense is as pure Princeton as Jackson's Triangle.

If Rick wants to come back and the players want him, keep him. I said the same thing when JVG wanted to come back and the players wanted to keep him.
