Oh man I wish I was alive when the Twin Towers where around. Two seven foooters running like they were guards.

    A sight to see!

Steve Francis' major injury was being dropped on his head as a baby. Slowed development of basketball IQ and damaged the part of the brain for self-awareness.

Interesting. The whole article is written in the same tone until he gets to Tmac. He then starts ripping into him with personal opinions. Complete 180 from talking about the others. Sounds like he wrote all that to harp on TMAC.

potential is one thing, but ability is another..these Rockets all had ability to become great players in the history of basketball and they end up second tier in their Era.

the article is a standard prematural report. for those players, they are still at the age which can be considered in earlier or in the middle of career. how can you make the conclusion?

we can imagine what the writer would do if he wrote his column back to the year when iigauskas had the surgery. he would have iigauskas listed for sure. now ilgauskas is even not on his list. what a bs! even more interesting is he excluded oden. oden is as fragile as yao if not worse. yao at least played a few years w/o problem until recent years.

i don't mind he lists all those retired layers or those at the end of his career according their ages, such grant hill. even he managed to play, he is just a couple years away from retirement.

I could not agree more with his assessment, especially of Tracy McGrady.

Such a sad waste of unbelievable talent.

Sampson did more in his short career for the Rockets than any of those did.

His potential was higher, he was Kevin Garnett, Dirk, before they existed.
His Clutch shot in 86 was better than ANY buzzer beater that those two have ever done. He sent the Rockets to the NBA finals with that shot, he took down the defending champion Lakers in LA with Dream being thrown out of the game. it's #11 on the greatest playoff moments, those dudes don't have any greatest playoff moments.
